- Welcome back to the world of factorio ladies and gentlemen! Today we will be playing a perfectly balanced normal game of factorio where we invite 500 people to our server and discover how long it will take us to beat the game! Anyone is welcome to join us on our quest of having a funny factorio experience whereby we use overwhelming numbers to beat automation and manual labour to create technology!

Factorio is a fantastic strategy and simulation game all about managing a growing factory in the face of a growing opposition to your own constructed factorio. Now today The Spiffing Brit Will be discovering if Factorio Is A Perfectly Balanced Game With No Exploits! We will be testing to see if with 500 Players in multiplayer we can speedrun the game faster than anyone else has! The current world record for a factorio multiplayer speed run is just under 2 hours! So logically if we slightly exploit the system by bringing in an extra 500 players we should be able to cheese that and win rather easily! Well naturally we will discover the power of the incredible massive multiplayer experience and watch 500 players build the best factory ever. With minimal efficiency of course due to just our massive numbers.
This video game exploit Livestream will be jam packed with a best bits funny moments montage style of editing similar to that of Valefisk, Robbaz and RTgame. So sit back relax and grab a cup of tea to enjoy with the spiffing brit!

Seriously, I think the best way to zerg bases like this is: the first player on scene drops all of their inv and lures the biters away. As long as they keep chasing someone, the spawners cannot make new ones. If the biters die, new ones spawn at the spawners (by now under attack by all other players), so killing the chasing biters is actually counterproductive.
I played in the first 2 original factorio streams (the failed one and the one that worked) but I couldn't join this one due to work but I'm loving watching the replay of it!
500 players looks like more of a handicap than anything lmao

@@squa_81 we can be a hive mind, not as much in the collective consciousness sense, but in the collective intelligence sense. like I said, if everyone knows what they are doing, they don't need actual communication, they can watch what the other players are doing and know exactly what they are supposed to do to reach the end goal organically without planning. theoretically the most efficient factory would emerge this way, by letting the collective intelligence arrive to the best possible decisions.

I played through the entirety of Factorio without ever using Blueprints, so they're not essential, and I've only ever used the Upgrade function twice to upgrade all my conveyors to the higher tiers. Also never used a coal-powered drill, went straight from manual mining to electric. This game has a lot of cool QoL features, but you can get through it with surprisingly little.

@@lio1234234 I was playing on my TV with a controller using a Steam Link, so I played with a relatively low number of keyboard keys (and I still had like three unbound buttons on my controller). I also learned to play by trial and error without using guides. So basically I was like "I'll get to this feature if I ever need it". Turns out I never did.

The large numbers of biters will be like the single biggest casue of lag/server stress, hope you can work it out and we can use the powers of tea to beat the aliens
Ironically that opening scene of the Starbucks v Yorkshire tea has the Yorkshire tea likely losing against Starbucks as the hammer on yorkshire tea's 1911 is down and thus will not be firing. Assuming that luger is loaded and the striker is cocked the heretical bean juice has won that standoff.

Game is very much worth it if you like building factories. Depth of gameplay is amazing. Quality is insane. Wube is probably on the level of early Nintendo in terms of quality control. Extremely optimized, mod compatible and basically the opposite of Activision games.

Hey, don't diss Skoda. I leased a Skoda Scala, which is the next model up from a Fabia and it's awesome. It's got Space like a Golf Variant, only costs as much as a Polo, I got mine for 27k with all features available, 150hp, 4 cylinder TSI engine, ACC and Travel Assist (basically Tesla's Auto pilot), rear view camera, heated front seats, heated steering wheel etc. Skoda really knows how to make cars nowadays, it's great
Should do this again, but with Krastorio2 and Space Exploration mods. Don't forget handy organizational tools like Transport Drones (road-based logistics system) and To Do List (task ticketing system). Seems more appropriate for hundreds of players to go and exploit the resources of a star system and local cluster instead of just a single planet.
