I don't care how many cruise vlogs I watch, or how many actual cruises I get on...there is something about embarkation day that always makes my hear skip a beat with excitement!
We love those sneaky interior cabins with windows because they’re super affordable… but I think we’ve determined that we’ll be balcony people every time we cruise to Alaska! We don’t mind the interiors other times though!! :P
Monica, Carnival has been running some specials lately that give you a free interior or ocean view. Balconies for $30.00 and Suites $150.00 All you need to qualify is a valid VFIP #. You are responsible for taxes and port fees.
Thanks for the video. One of our favorite ships. In fact it probably is our favorite Carnival Ship not too big not too small. So happy you got a balcony.
my grandparents loved this ship when it sailed out of NYC ,they loved carnival but when they lived in the capital region theyd book thru yankee trails and catch the bus down
Hey Dee and Jay. Thanks once again for your 2nd leg video to Alaska ... this time with Carnival. Have a great Cruise experience, enjoy all that there is to enjoy, bien appetit for all your dinning choices and smile and laugh as much as possible, because life is too precious and too short!! I cannot wait for our 20th anniversary cruise aboard the Miracle this December. It was very helpful watching this vlog to help get the lay of the land.
I really enjoy your videos!! Glad you got to move to a Balcony!! We have had a port hole room, a ocean view room and when we got the Balcony we loved it and is the only way for us to Cruise!! Liked that they did the muster drill as soon as you got on board!! Can’t wait for the next one!!
So glad you did the cabin tour for the 4K as that's what I have on the Miracle in February (with the view between the lifeboats). And - ha ha - the first ad on feminine odor products was the funniest ad I've seen in a long, long time!!!
We love that 4K interior because of the price, and we usually get it any time we sail a Spirit-class ship. But something about Alaska just begs for a balcony, ha ha... That's funny about the ads, as YT gets to pick those out on our behalf and we have no say. Love it!! :P
I am so looking forward to this. I have been watching all of the parody videos. Really appreciate your talents. Looking forward to to finding out more things for us to do on our Alaska cruise next year.
I didn't see the serenade of the seas series, but I will go back and watch it, was waiting for the full thing to come out so I can binge watch you guys lol...welcome to my neck of the woods, no matter how gray the sky is, the Seattle city skyline is always a beautiful view.
Hi Dee and Jay! Yay! The Carnival Miracle looks like so much fun to cruise Alaska What’s better than hot chocolate? Hot mocha ☕️😋🍫 Thank you for taking us along!
The Spirit class is a fantastic size for what we like in an Alaska cruise. I'm sure we'll eventually try a big big ship to Alaska, but we tend to enjoy the smaller ships better for that trip!! :D
Good morning kids. I've seen you and other vloggers doing Alaska so much as of late and enjoy all of the content..it's kept me cool in this GA heat. No need to do Alaska now ...gee I'm getting old..feel like I've seen it all. Thinking more about Europe now. Keep up the good work as I never miss your videos.
Muster stations first is an interesting concept, we never eat breakfast on embarkation days knowing we'd jump up to the lido for guy's first. Hope you stay warm in Alaska!
Glad you got upgraded to a balcony. Was really surprised to see you in an inside for an Alaska cruise given that whale/seal/otter/glacier watching from your balcony is typically priority one. I'm sure you had a wonderful time and looking forward to seeing all of your adventures!
WOW! That is indeed a LOT of purple! But cool looking too! So awesome you guys got an upgrade to a balcony, will make it easier for Dee to call out for the whales!LOL Let the adventures begin, again! :)

My first Alaska cruise was a 14 day on Miracle. My next Alaska cruise is a 4 day on the Miracle. I have sailed on her 4 times already. I have a balcony this time, I can’t wait.
It’s so great to follow you on your journeys. My husband and I love trivia although we are very bad at it, we won a trivia once on the Carnival Glory when we were the only two who showed up! Haha
Oh mercy, ha ha… I think we posted every single day in between the two vlog serieseses, but we’re always excited to start another cruise adventure!! :P
Can’t wait to get on our next Alaska cruise … we’ve taken 36 cruises we’ve only got an upgrade one time and that was way at the beginning of our cruise history.. I know that they don’t do it anymore unfortunately !! but we have taken 11 cruises to Alaska and we have been in lots of different cabins never a suite …because we don’t want to spend the extra money for that… hope you have a great time … we love Alaska!!
