Thanks so much watching and so glad it makes sense. I map these videos out in notes of what I want to touch on but the awkwardness of talking to myself in a camera makes my mind feel like I'm just WINGIN' it so if NOTHING ELSE I hope what I'm trying to say comes across easy to understand.

Great video! I'd be curious about a "market trends" video in either cresties or gargs where you state where you think the market is going, what are the hot new "morphs", etc.

I think the garg market will continue to grow as more and more people are looking for something besides CRESTED GECKOS but are equally as docile, fun; and managable. I don't expect reds to Lose their demand and of course the more saturation the higher demand since that's the biggest variation in gargoyle geckos. Oranges will defintely start growing in popularity the more we see people improve their saturation but I don't forsee them being more popular than reds as reds are just displayed on gargs in such a breathtakingly way its would be hard for any other color to compete unless its shades of red like purples and pinks. I do look forward to seeing what the different shades grow into like purples and pinks, and of course blacks and whites are incredible if someone puts in the time to perfect crisp bright paper whites and rich dark blacks. I mean there's tons of ways the gargoyle gecko market can grow we just need more breeder to stop playing it safe and branch out into projects that aren't in high demand. Ive even seen a few black and yellow blotches with intense black and bright yellow (not off white or yellowy white) and those animals were incredible. Unfortunately as far as crested geckos goes I don't think it's a fair playing field. Trends grow more based on the breeder being toxic and popular than because of the animals or new "morphs" .

I think I finally understand what IS a 6 stripe! LOL I’ve been literally counting all the stripes and scratching my head! Also, I LOVE the B&Ws and I’m braver than enough to start that project but super hard to find…

@@southerngurlexotics7764 thanks for the reply! I’ve seen some very striking white/dark animals on MM but they are far and few between. I hope they grow in popularity as well so that breeders start “perfecting” them but I do like their current lower price point 😂 Stronger pinks and purples would be really cool to see as well. In your other video you made it seem like there is no rhyme or reason to producing those colors though, correct?

I've not seen too many pinks (true pinks that fire up pink) but it a really pretty animal even though in my opinion it tends to take away from that WOW vibrancy we see in gargs. Black and whites tend to look amazing as babies but they tend to change into browns and yellowy /off whites so it's not going to be a cheap or quick project. It's going to take years to define it and bc there isn't a huge market for black & whites especially as browns and off whites (they look more like wild types coloring and everyone loves designer morphs), so it can get expensive not being able to sell the MANY off spring that aren't going to be up to par. I love the the few I've seen as adults but most aren't for sale and for me I love the reds and oranges regardless of market trend so for me I've been focusing on getting more saturation into orange (true tangerine orange) animals.

I didn't know that about the black/whites fading. Thanks so much for the info. I think seeing higher saturation oranges would be incredible as well. Good luck with your projects and thanks for the conversation! @@southerngurlexotics7764

Do you give them cold water or room temperature?

To drink? It's cold from the tap so I don't ice it make it chill but it comes out pretty cold.
