I just got my first ever gargoyle (and reptile in general) today! She's got this kind of very light blush pink base with black and brownish stripes, kind of like the one at 19:22 but more red tinted instead of yellow tinted. Gave her the pending name of Bumblebee! I don't plan on breeding geckos, I just wanted a pet, but I'm excited to see what morphs and patterns show up now these guys are getting more popular. The reds seem a bit oversaturated in the market right now, so hopefully some more unique colors and patterns start popping up!
Ooh... new channel for me! I'm a reptile breeder, but still fairly new to breeding gargs. I adore them!

i never comment on youtube but im so glad you shouted out jreptiles. hes awesome and i feel like hes overlooked compared to other breeders

This season hasn't started off great but we shall see. Lots of duds since I paired everyone later this year.

Haha!! Yeah I'm not too worried about it. I wanted to give my girls efficient rest during the off season and they each got a full 6 months to fatten up and rest and even if I miss out on a few clutches It was worth it to make sure they got what they needed.

Great video to listen to as always. I’ve recently gotten into the gecko instagram scene…can’t believe the colors that the Korean breeders make. Especially with black/white animals. But If they purchased them for such high amounts how can they re-sell so low??
Because they breed as early and in BULK. They make back what they invested in one season of wholesaling back to us and then each season after is all profit. Not too much they produce across the board higher quality animals bc they bought our best so animals that would slowly sell and maintain value at 3, 4, 5k here they will sell back better quality to IS breeders at a few hundred to 1k and forces us to drop our prices to compete. Keep in mind breeders are other breeders best customers. The average keeper doesn't spend 2 -5k on a High quality animal other breeders do so if other breeders can get them for 1k and woth import fees cheaper than what we are selling them here we are almost forced to drop our prices.
@@southerngurlexotics7764 Bummer. Have breeders learned to stop selling overseas?? And I've always wondered how much of the high end market was sustained by just breeders buying from each other.
