Hi there! Great Video and I love your and Mind's custom Season concept! I'm a passionate storywriter and have made a couple of custom Ninjago Seasons myself, so I sat down and made a draft for what the Story of this season could look like, i hope you enjoy!
First off, some minor things before i start. I would give Kozu the Ghost Tail in the sets as well as the show, since i dont know how that would really look, but thats just my opinion.
Secondly, to make things easier, this season plays after Seabound but before Crystalized, so any of the Stuff that happens there will not be regarded. Nya is not one with the Sea, but i will not be explaining why its just because she has sets in this Wave.
So now lets get into a veeeery rough plot outline.
This is a Kai Season btw.
In a tomb below a mountain range of volcanos, the government of Ninjago has resealed what remains of the Stone Army as well as the Helmet of Shadows. But General Kozu's Body was not destroyed, like we thought in Day of the Departed. He was damaged almost beyond repair, but he survived the Attack and was able to escape and survive, even after the Yin Yang Eclipse came to a close. He hid for many many years, trying to obtain some more of the Dark Matter from the Dark Island to be able to repair himself and slowly reconstructed his old form.
But now he wanted Revenge against the Ninja. He heard of the Power of the Forbidden Scrolls and what Aspheera managed to do with them, yet he thought there was so much unused potential within them. So he set out to hunt for the remaining Scroll, locked away in the Vaults of Borg Tower. He was, after a fight with the Guards who were of course unable to destroy him, able to acquire the Scroll and Aspheera's Staff aloong with it. The Ninja arrived on the Scene but were too late, Kozu had already escaped. Kozu traveled to the Desert of Doom and tried to use the Scroll. He would soon learn however that, since he was not a fire elemental or had any elemental power of any sort, the scroll mearly amplified his rage.
Outraged, he sought out a way to find a source of Fire power and remembered the Golden Weapons. Kozu used a situation where the Ninja were out on a mission to sneak into the Monastary and steal the Sword, where he was confronted by Pixal. He was easily able to overpower her and managed to escape with the Sword. He then went to the Golden Peaks, of which he had been told by Lord Garmadon, and there He used the Scroll and the Staff alongside the Sword to forge a new Weapon, the Hellfire Sceptre (Or Scorchfire Sceptre if you cant say hell in a kids show for some reason). With this sceptre, he now felt the immense fire coursing through him, partially melting the arm in which he held it and igniting his helmet ablaze.
But now, Kozu needed an Army in order for his plan to succeed. He wanted all of Ninjago to burn and for a new World to rise from the Ashes. He sought out the tomb where his stone warriors were kept and dawned the Helmet of Shadows once more, now turning into the Helmet of Cinders. Yet, his soldiers were damaged beyond repair, only their armor remaining. But Kozu had an Idea. He took the Armor and went to Aspheera's Pyramid, in which there were still mummies of the Pyro Vipers left. He used the Sceptre and some of the Armor to raise an Army of Snake Samurai and Scouts, spewing fire from their very skin. With this Army, he marches towards the Village of Ingmar on the Side of the most active Volcano in all of Ninjago, right after the one seen in Season 1. The Ninja of course hear this and fight Kozu and his Army, but only Kai stands even a bit of a chance, with only him being able to work around the flames of his enemies.
The Fire Nation arrives in the Village, where Kozu uses the Power of the Forbidden Scroll and the remaining Stone Armor to create his Corrupted fire Samurai, as Zane once did in the Never Realm. Now, his army consisted of Serpentine and Humans alike. In this Village once lived the Master of Fire before Ray and the Master of Smoke and their Son, Ash. This young man, a bit older than the ninjas, had inherited a bit of both elements, allowing him to create a gas which he could then ignite, similar to the Zippleback from HTTYD. Ash was able to escape Kozu'S Corruption and found the Ninja to tell them what had happened. When the Ninja and Ash rushed to Ingmar, they saw Kozu atop the Volcano in his Infernalisk, a Mix of a Fire Fang Serpent and a Giant Stone Warrior, preparing to use the Hellfire Sceptre to engulf the entire Island in Flames. The Ninja and Ash fought the Hordes of Samurai and Serpents alike, but where not fast enough. As Kozu completed his Spell, Lava rose from the Volcano into the Air, turning into blazing missiles, which Kozu let rain from the Sky like a searing rain of Death. The World around the Ninjas started burning and the Ninja had to flee into the Caves underneath Ingmar.
In these Caverns, Kai and Ash train together and learn of Ash's past as the only "Hybrid Elemental" in the known Ninjago World. The Ninja desperatly try to think of a plan to stop the Fire Nation, thinking maybe Nya could extinguish Ninjago, yet they knew not even Nya was strong enough to stop the entire Island from burning. Suddenly, Cole remembers the Power of the Spinjitzu Burst. He thinks that Kai may be able to unlock his Burst when outside, since he could not be more surrounded by his element than in a wold ablaze. The Ninja travel below ground to Kryptarium Prison to talk to Aspheera (Kozu doesnt talk to her in my version). Aspheera tells the Ninja that if Kai were to take the Sceptre from Kozu, he could undo all the Damage he did and destroy the Scroll for good, while not destroying the Sword of Fire in the process.
The Ninja return to Ingmar to face Kozu. While the Ninja fight the Samurai down at the fortress, Kai and Ash confront Kozu in his Infernalisk atop the Volcano. Kai and Ash fight together, only for Ash to be knocked out to near death. Kozu Shoots a immense volley of Lava at Kai but he becomes enraged, and unlocks his Spinjitzu Burst power. Kai is now the first Fire Elemental to ever harness the Burst. In his Burst state, Kai conjures a giant Dragon that looks like a Mix of Lloyds Legendary Dragon and The Ultimate Pheonix from Chima, of course all in Red, and battles Kozu and the Infernalisk. The Battle Rages on but then, Kai manages to grab ahold of the Hellfire Sceptre and the Infernalisk crumbles to the Ground, dropping Kozu into the Volcano below, where he sinks into the Lava. Kai then uses the Power of the Scroll alongside his Dragon, to absorb all of the flames around Ninjago back into himself and the Sceptre. When Kai lands, he smashes the Sceptre, thus killing the Serpentine Warriors and freeing the human ones. What remains is a supercharged Sword of Fire, it now being the only one of the Four Golden Weapons to still have it's powers. The amount of Fire that Kai absorbed in the Sword now made him able to conjure his Burst Dragon at will, making him one of the strongest Ninja then. As Ash wakes up, he says he wants to join the Ninja team, and the others tell him that he'd be better of with the Elemental Masters, as they could use his help in keeping the peace around Ninjago and Ash agrees. Now, the World of Ninjago is free again, albeit a little bit.. burnt

Funny thing: when mentioning the unburnable wood, I was thinking of mentioning something like the fire power you mentioned. An indistinguishable fire, sorta like the Samadi Fire in Monkie Kid, which would be the only thing that could burn the wood. I was thinking it to sorta being like the Spinjitzu Burst as well. I didn't mention it as I didn't know how to smoothly bring it up.
Also its 'Infernolith' as in monolith. Tho "Infernolisk" sounds like that if it took the name from Basilisk instead of Monolith, which is fitting given the snake tail.

This is the coolest fan story I've ever heard the idea of Kai unlocking burst is perfect and the dragon idea is amazing. Bravo bravo

I love these! The set ideas and play features are amazing! I also love making custom Ninjago sets and making a story behind them! (Although I don’t usually use an AI for it.) You have to make your own custom season, and sets sometime! I think if you made something up, it could be even better! I can’t wait to see what comes out of Mind’s video and these sets! This obviously deserves a sub from me.

This is where the fun begins!
I guess the villian faction could be a serpentine splinter group that didn't turn good after season 2, and the remaining members of the SOG trying to get revenge on the ninja. Not sure why they would be following Kozu though. Also I think that Kozu should be wielding Kai's elemental blade from season 2, instead of the sword of fire, since it was a part of his original season.

Coles three main colors besides black is ORANGE, BROWN and GRAY. not SAND GREEN
Sand green is one of them, it's just not used very often or strongly. Tho your right that I should have mentioned grey, tho there was already a quite bit of it on the build, so it would have been more redundant, especially compared to sand green.
