jeep jk cold start noise easy fix

They rattle. My solution was switching from 5w-20 to 0w-20 on my 2009. Also Shell Rotella Gas Truck stayed in the crankcase longer than any other oil I tried.

Been doing this for years..great tip...you can use a non-PATS key to crank too to bring oil to the top of the engine!

That’s a great tip! I actually have a non program key I use to just unlock it when I go for a mountain bike ride so I don’t carry the expensive key with me and lose it. Great great idea thanks!

I’m not sure. I don’t have a 3.6 to try it on. If it would help build oil pressure maybe the wouldn’t eat cams so bad. If you find out please let us know.

It works for the 3.6 yea. In the push button start, you simply press the brake and accelerator pedals at the same time and press the start button
