As a former Republican minded person who grew up through the end of the cold war the attitude of the party since 2016 is an absolutely EMBARSEMENT to what it used to be. Even as recently as Romney's run for President, who was mocked by democrats for calling out Russia as our biggest geopolitical foe, the Republican party had a semblance of wisdom in the matter. Now? It's as if the party I so strongly supported for much of my life is willingly flushing the superpower clout of the USA down the proverbial toilet. "Own the libs" is regarded a higher standard than "help our friends and defend global democracy". There are not enough adjectives to convey my disgust with every Republican who's weak mind and conniving political games have fallen under Trump's spell.
I was so very glad and grateful that he lead with the fight for Ukraine. America must stand for liberty, justice and Democracy in the world, or our country is lost.

At this point unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender.
Ukraine does not have zero economy, it is an agricultural nation. We have more than enough of an industrial base to sustain this war, especially considering just how many nations are involved in supporting Ukraine. Artillery shell prices have risen because nations are no longer needing to sell them for cheap to rid surplus due to the fact that they have been able to give them to Ukraine. When surplus is sold and no longer needing space for storage new shells can be made. Prices of newly made shells will go down as more and more are made. Russia has been struggling to capture even a couple cities when the west is supporting Ukraine. Russia has been relentlessly forcing their people to conscript or face jail time, and then throwing them to the front lines with almost no ammunition or food. This is the same strategy they used during the second world war. Ukraine, under western support, has also been able to make counter offensives against the Russians and reclaim cities that had been captured. Comparing Ukraine to Nazi Germany is unrealistic, as Nazi Germany had few allies but many enemies, as does Russia. Russia is the one following the pattern of Nazi Germany with the forced conscription and propaganda they attempt to feed their people and the rest of the world.
