Gentiles need to keep the 7 Noahide commandments. Good luck.
@@hrvatskinoahid1048 what's that supposed to mean?!
His time is coming soon 🔜
@@charm1225 God gave 613 commandments for Jews and the 7 for Gentiles.
True, very learned.
"Wisdom is never taught; wisdom is revealed to those with eyes to see and hearts to feel."

Wisdom is born of pain. Wisdom is not knowledge nor is it understanding; wisdom is built upon the pillars of knowledge and understanding. Direct personal experience is the best teacher. We studied the Word of God, but without direct experience we only intellectualize.

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 if separation was not enshrined by many religions.. it would be dull world to be the same. the key is to co-exist peacefully, to be tolerant and help one another and share gifts with everyone. Good luck with understanding this wisdom.

What a beautiful definition of goodness: "It's not about me. It's about the others."
@@plaintalk3804sounds like our evil inclination that you are taking about. We’re supposed to resist and master our evil inclination, individually.
@@plaintalk3804our negative attitude, limited tunnel vision, won't allow you to see 'goodness'. A shame. Your 'mere words' aren't any more attractive. Unfortunately.
It's the only definition of 'goodness' that's not subjective.

Exactly why Im disgusted with our politicians…..the American people are a beautiful and diverse people…..but the people at the top pit us against eachother
Thank you. Rabbi
I volunteered in a Texas prison for 5 years with a program of spirituality without religion. I would love to learn more about your program, and whether I could be trained to facilitate it. But totally agree... I met some of the finest people in prison!
I can't believe I actually have to say this, but just because a few morally bankrupt politicians claim a law, doesn't dictate it's morality. I know that people degrade a person who is in prison, but being victim of a bullshit law doesn't make you a monster. People who are in prison for victimless crimes get a free pass from me, every time. Law enforcement thinks we're all scumbags, no matter what. You got the silver bracelets, you're a piece of shit. That puts us in ideological opposition. You think government is God. I say what you think is garbage. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you quit your job and are helping the homeless, but I doubt it.
@HighHolyOne
I volunteered at a prison for three years and I learned so much. The guys and I got along very well.
There are so many seniors being robbed and abused 😢 I'm asking for prayers for deliverance from the financial and physical abuse, one day we are all seniors.
Thankyou Rabbi for the morning session all the best from Samoa.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom with all of us 🙏
I believe you because I have seen it. I worked as a volunteer at Sing Sing prison some time ago. Getting people in touch with their inner being (their soul) can work wonders.

Dear rabbi you are a good person and wise, everyone deserves to have a person like you in his life, you are on my prayers and keep up the amazing work.
'Deserves'? Good people, wise people are here. 'Deserves'? None of us 'deserves' anything. Thinking you do, I don't, he does, she doesn't, is dangerous thinking.
Realizing that none of us 'deserves' anything could make us all grateful for anything and everything.

@@plaintalk3804huh? They're in prison so they can only talk, no action? Watch the rabbis talk in prison to hear the 'action' that can be taken. Everything v is a step, in the "right" or "wrong" direction. Lots of people "on the outside" should be locked up. The "caught" ones were found out. Not everyone is.
How precious ✨. Thank you not only for sharing but taking notice.
Yeah, a lot of people who end up in prison, were abused in some way, as kids; whether being brought up in a dysfunctional home or being molested by a trusted adult in their lives, their early lives were awful & they took to drugs and ultimately, a life of crime.
You are 100% right
True , it’s so sad . Many of them were so abused and didn’t know another way
Not everyone ends up on drugs or alcohol, or in prison, or uncaught criminals, since not all perpetrators are caught. Prison happens, I'd say, mostly, by people who never "knew" G-d.
Just because you were a victim of horrible things, doesn't give you an excuse to transfer that trauma onto another human being. I was molested, doesn't automatically make me want to go out hurting other little kids. As a matter of fact, it should be the one thing that makes you go out and defend other kids against it. Pedo advocates are sick and should be punished. Period.
@@ilovebutterstuff I never said it was an excuse. And obviously the judicial system doesn't believe that it is either, otherwise, they would not incarcerate a convicted person, if or when his/her sad childhood comes to light. I've had a lot of crap in my life too, & yet I do not abuse kids either or commit any other type of atrocity.
This is an amazing lesson. I love listening to your teachings, thank you so much for sharing. We not me.
The man who transforms himself from the lowest of lowly behavior and choices and turns himself around brings the greatest light into the world. AMen!
I love this guy lol. What a great speaker, delivering great messages.
With the greatest respect to Rabbi I would love to talk and listen to his fine words
How precious , just beautiful, so many to pray for in a moment, it just takes a moment.
Beholding and acceptance of reality knows its own fulfillment, it doesn't need a why.
Huh? 'Reality' could be subjective to one's experience. People ask 'why'?
I live in California and unfortunately it has deteriorated to becoming unrecognizable. More people are leaving each month and everything is getting worse. We can't even keep people here because of the weather, underground.

Many Thanks and Many Blessings to you Rabbi Friedman for sharing this wonderful, inspiring, revelation with us on CZcams!!
Thank you for your teachings❤
This principle so eloquently described is why we must always treat each other with respect, at the heart of someone doing evil is a soul with good in it. Thank you for this message ❤
A full send mensch right here... I learn every time I hear you speak, and you help me to keep my mind on god, and his goodness.
I think this Rabbi is wonderful he contributes to elevating our spirit and helping us understand what we can do with our lives
This is so incredibly moving. Wow.
....Always love the words of wisdom ❤❤❤
Great inspiration. Be blessed Rabbi.👍👍👌
He is 'blessed', as we all are, whether we know it or not. Even those in prison.
True enough. Some of us have a hard time with capitol punishment because we sometimes see the perpetrator has some good qualities that when brought forward benefit others while at the same time it improves and benefits himself.
That must've been an incredible experience. I don't have to see it for myself, thanks.
Doestoevsky realized this during his years spent in Siberian prisons; the best of human characteristics were found in their miserable lives there and nowhere else.
So much Chokmah, very deep, moving comments, so true, I have served my time in Federal Prison, I have Teshuvah, returned to Hashem, grow and teach, becoming a Rabbi soon , Hashem willing Sukkot.
HaShem bless you all HALLELUJAH with frequency and vibration HaShems love light surrounding you.
Profound wisdom spoken here
Often society views people through tags or stickers we place on people as you would merchandise. What you gave to them was respect and saw through the tags placed on them, that allowed them to be themselves rather the jail that reminds them of the acts they did at one time in their life. This allowed them to move beyond for a moment through you to show or come out as human. We on the outside of these prisons live in a larger one called the world. Hashem sees us for what we are, not what we did or do. We have a gift called teshuva and once we accept our grief and shame for what we did, Hashem sets us free to become more than what we did. So, maybe just maybe we grow to more than what we were born with.
I like the video with you in a prison. I watch it every once in a while.
Beautiful message Thank you Rabbi 🙏🙏💜💜😇💎💎🇬🇧🇬🇧
I enjoyed this video! I could not help but hear elements of Dr. Victor Emil Frankl's work being reflected by the Rabbi. In contrast to Dr. Frankl (lived in a concentration camp), others may experience existential crisis via prison and/or through unwise choices in their lives. My hope is that myself and others can learn how to "choose life", discover meaning, and then hold onto life while we have the chance.
Rabbi not only do you have a great sweater and your advice is brilliant spot on...
Thank you very much for this, Rabbi.
The idea of good and bad revealed from very unexpected places is interesting. One could also say the prisoners' sustenance is completely guaranteed. All their needs are met, albeit by someone else, at the same time, every day. In that situation, they would only have life to reflect on, of which it seems there is none. Maybe that is why God sent them there, to have life reborn without the burden of having to maintain existence.
Todah Rabah Rabbi, v'Baruch Ha'Shem!!
Rabbi Friedman, as always I am great full to hear your teachings. There’s so many questions that come to my mind. I truly want to understand what is the message here, to forgive the people that cause pain yo others because now they find out their goodness? So where that evil went or just it disappeared ? What happened with the pain that still remain in their families, friends or others? Are the last one more criminals than them ? Perhaps we need to learn to bring that goodness in ourselves?
Thank you so much.
I might suggest that you listen to the video of RMF in the prison. It's eye opening. He also has videos on pain, etc. They can answer your questions, which other people have had too.
'Pain' doesn't linger. That's a choice we make to keep it "fresh". The memory of the perfect person (which everyone "becomes" magically once "gone") who died or was killed can live on. Holding on to the details of the death serve no purpose, since we can't change any of it.
Abuse, same thing. We aren't defined by what people choose to do to us. We're all "children of G-d", each with our own unique value. No one can change that, except ourselves, by becoming what they say, if that makes sense.
It's how people survive atrocities and do well. We know we are G-dly, not what others say or do to us. G-d decides our outcome, living on to accomplish our mission or dying because we've done it, and gives us strength to move forwards.
Shalom Rabbi I believe you and respect the good you have done because I was there.
You really are a great orator powerful thoughts
Thanks
I sent over 40 years in vaious prisons in the United States, and I know about goodness and evil therin. I'm 71 right now, and i've learned that being aware of and helping others is what the Lord demands of us.

Excellent advice Rabbi, thank you for sharing. Is there any way you can link that Hasidic course that you referenced in the video please? Thanks again.
There are Hasidic courses all over the net. That one was possibly developed specifically for prisoners.
So true . Self involved behavior is the ego ,and the ego never thrives because it's all about i ,i ,i. That way you just gather material...and then those people live in a deluded state . Its all about me. And they surrounded by all about me people and cant see why they have so much ( but lack substance but can gain it) yet so alone. Dont become a slave to your ego. We can change. Keep sowing goodness in your mind. To be grateful goes hand in hand with being thankful . For example -just being alive. Let go of the hurt. It keeps you rooted in a dark place. No one is perfect. But change can occur. Stay humble.
I believe you. I have also seen that profound change occurs in people. Keep up the good work sir
Thank you ❤

Wisdom is the greatest thing we could have, with it you reason things out appropriately. When we are speaking of inmates, even children know right from wrong. Many of those inmates came from good, loving parents. Many are well educated. I need to know when someone I meet has committed a heinous crime on innocent people...I'm really not interested in his wisdom or his knowledge when he's hurt another person. Mothers, parents, have to consider that anyone could possibly harm their child.
Whilst you let your walls down, beware what comes over the fence. God bless.
Lack of fathers in the home are to blame 75%. Shame on those men!
What course? How can I find information on it?
Mafia gangs aren't the worst of worst. There's worse. Singular people who are worse.
What are 'singular ' people?
Oh you see the value in mafia giving their ill gotten gains to churches? They don't hurt their enemy's families so that's "good"?
Who cares who the 'worst of the worst' are? From any victim's standpoint, it's the perpetrator they had the misfortune to "encounter" who are the 'worst', who changed things in their and their family's and friend's existence in horrific ways.
People who don't value other people's lives, other people's property, feel "entitled" to use and abuse as they see fit, are all of the "worst" when you're in their path.
@@paulschnyder938presumably murderers, robbers, etc, acting alone, as opposed to tens, hundreds or thousands acting together, in a gang.
An obvious rationalization for belonging to a criminal group who feel strength in numbers and in levels of brutality.
Which 'mafia gangs' are "okay" with you? Chinese? Jews? Caribbeans? Russians? Italians? Mexicans? Africans? Columbians? Irish? Germans?

I hurt my heel and she wanted me to find mine and she knew where hers was and I didn’t… my heel was scraped really badly
This is manifesting because of the time?
Oh my what a horrible experience ! Maybe that is what he means.
@@ExtraPencil2 I’m not sure
@@ExtraPencil2 I’m thinking so and I see this type of thing happening more frequently. Now I understand what is happening.
'Manifesting'? What do you mean?
It seems you're taking an incident with your mom and making it into a "worldly" event. Good people being bad and bad being good is way beyond little things.
You were in pain so your focus is you. Your mom? Don't "know" what she was going through. You'd have to ask her. Or not. Sometimes those things aren't shared. They don't have to be.

The crimes of these people were what they did, it was not who they are. That is why there was so much turn around. They heard something that no body ever told them before and it resonated with who they really were! Blessings to you!

A message to global leaders:
Preach what I tell you if you think you are very brave
You have made the world and the religious and political leadership a round business all together you of the high hierarchy
And the people impoverished and abandoned in corruption and extreme poverty
They close their eyes to these truths and ignore that they can still request to make a change, make a call
