- Comedian Dustin Nickerson (me!) doing stand up at the at Keep You Distance Comedy Show with KevOnStage the FIRST TIME. Posting this whole this (mostly full set since folks seemed to dig the most recent one, so here's the one I did over the summer of 2020.
And yes, again, I was the one white comedian there for (mostly) black crowd. Chatting what do with your sign after protests, relationships, parenting, and the challenges of me and my wife being the whitest couple in history.

If you can control a black audience, you can control any crowd. We’re the toughest to make laugh, you’re guaranteed success in comedy if you can do that. 💪🏾

Black audiences are easy to make laugh. They came to laugh. Black people have always laughed more easily. It's easier to get a black audience to stand up and dance than it is to get a white audience to laugh.
I didn't laugh. Dude was more tolerated than anything. He'll do fine with his people, though.
German audience is toughest to crack

In my eyes i find that remarkable, because sometimes I’ll hear comedians talk about tough crowds because of racism.
There was one guy in the audience who had an amazing laugh! I love the comic, but that guy stole the show for me.
