    I'm not gonna lie... I kind of wish you went with a super dark jewel green.... BUT the door/wall turned out sooooo good. Curious why you guys didn't want to paint the door itself?

      I was thinking about green too, it’s more natural and would compliment the style and color of these doors. But I wish they’d stick with beige, dark color makes windows too lofty.

    It's a beautiful colour, it just doesn't go with what's already there. Too clear of a hue when everything else is kind of dusty. I was hoping for a dark teal. Doors are awesome.

      My office has a lot of the colors they have at the studio (dusty pinks, ivory, terracotta) and i went with dark teal for ascents and it really looks great together so i second this motion.

      Yup i would've chosen more of a dark teal to go with the rust and mauve but they have thier taste. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :)

    I see everybody is ripping apart the blue, but I was expecting it since Rachel tried to get Becky to paint her guest room that color. I don't hate it, but agree it doesn't jive with the rest of the office. A deep jeweltone green would've looked beautiful on the entry side, but I really wanted them to keep the color of the board room as it was. Still an amazing DIY❤

      I think an emerald green that matches the pillow on the couch would have been the move but I definitely knew it was gonna be tealy blue too. I really like the new colors and styles the past few videos have had though. Changing styles is a good thing!

      Actually it kinda works if you look at backdrop behind cameras exposure in Kitchen Area !! Just keep looking as they really didn't give us a full view from different angles to fairly judge it All... Boy oh Boy there Talented!!!!

      I would have preferred it just to be black to match the other walls in the office. With the wall black the doors could have been painted another colour picked from elsewhere in the office or the board room

    I thought they would maybe do 2 colors so each side went with the design that was there. It’s interesting cause I usually agree with Kelsey 80% of the time. I wonder how long this blue will last? That shade of blue just doesn’t go with any colors they have. I could have seen a dusty med/light blue but this is different

The blue colour was a surprise but I don’t mind it and it is paint. If you don’t like it after living with it for a while, just paint over it

    I think that I personally would’ve preferred the side of the wall that’s in the board room to be more of a neutral to blend with the rest of the space but the blue is cool on the other side.

    Love the arched doors, great find! Kudos to Becky and the team with the door installation. My intuition told me Kelsey was going to choose a peacock blue, wow, spot on - fabulous girls, it all came together beautifully.     That divider is such a good idea! Its very useful to have a separate meeting/leisure area that can block a bit the noise from whatever is happening on the working side :)

    "Boardroom pink" on the inside, "industrial panel wall black" on the outside - and maybe leaving the arches cream/white as they are.
    Or moroccan terracotta like the textured wall would really go with the door shape.

    I'm loving the blue, it gives the space a high energy vibe which compliment this crew. Green is considered to be a neutral and obviously would have just blended in and wouldn't have given the space the same pop

    I LOVE the blue. The doors, the windows and the wall in that color remind me of Latin American architecture. Super bright and colorful! Also it's an office! Contemporary office spaces in big companies are playful like that :)

      @@RoseLe you can pick a decent outfit to be paint clothes, just making a certain set the dedicated paint clothes saves all your other stuff. Personally I set aside a nice black shirt that'll end up looking awesome when it's gathered enough paint splotches 😂

    That dark grey blue at 24:44 (top & top right corner) was the colour I hoped for. I have tall double Art Nouveau glass doors with a similar colour and any dusty colour (dark blue, olive green) goes so well with the eggshell (?) colour of the door. 🥰 Plus it would have complimented the dusty rose wall behind.
    But the door is so beautiful!

      As I Look at it U do like the blue in Kitchen side of door as other colors in that side work but in board room set colors against it don't... On that side I'd do something that matches BeTTeR or blends BeTTeR... In All Fairness Becky built a Hell of A Door... And Honestly it Depends on which area around it we are seeing on camera.. so Kelsey I went back again and observed it from your perspective... You Girls are full of Talent & Very Naturel Beauties...     Absolutely adore this DIY! That was such a huge project to tackle, I would'nt even know where to begin. I'm not crazy about the color, it feels a bit stark against the rest of the office palette, but paint is just paint. Great job, Team TSG!

      I agree, windows should have been arched ! I also think that a faux "frosted window" look on the side windows would have been cool. Perhaps the "Sorry girls" logo ?!     What a great addition to your space! Love that the boardroom is a dedicated space. Love the arch and the side panels. Love how the color brings joy to the space. It really makes your whole office look like an even more professional space now, as opposed to a well appointed cement building.

    Amazing work! I think the problem with the blue is that it is very saturated compared with all the other colors in the office which are more muted. Maybe a darker and/or dustier blue will work a bit better.

    The blue is dope! It's alarming to me how many of your viewers don't understand/appreciate the concept of contrasting colors. The blue really accentuates the architecture of the arches/windows that you guys so perfectly constructed. You guys did an amazing job! Don't listen to the haters.     Kelsey…you are a riot. Your camera takes, humor and wry commentary as you approach and attack a project are so entertaining. You and your team are naturals so viewers learn some of your design techniques while enjoying the ride. I saw another really funny video you did, the office meeting to discuss the mice problem, the kitchen redo etc. I’ll tune in when I can. Oh, please, no more climbing up ladders or up on counters stretching yourself to reach something wearing those mules. Loved watching from lovely Montclair, NJ.

    I am beyond impressed that you built the wall and hung the doors. Added the squares to the windows. Next you will bebuilding an entire house! Lol. I love everything about this including the color!!! The whole place looks bright and cheerful. And it's just paint. Can always be changed when you want to redecorate.

      Yes! I would have looked better. The blue is pretty but doesn't go in that space. I also think painting the door would have made look a lot better.

    The doors were a definite score! Great job building the wall to support it. As others have said, the color choice doesn’t really make sense to me. It’s out of place. I also thought the grids on the plexiglass made it look cheap.

    I LOVED the blue, it's different and it is ACTUALLY cohesive, because the office has this peach orange color and the blue is the contrasting color in the chromatic circle. I like bold decisions, not boring ones!!! 💛

      It's not cohesive because just because it's the contrasting color doesn't mean it fits together when one color is muted/desaturated/lightened and the other is fully saturated. It creates a ton of tension.

      @@annagarcia8487 No, they don't always fit together if one is desaturated/pastel and the other one highly saturated. I'm a graphic designer and conservator of art (paintings and sculptures) so I think I know a little bit about colors. lol It doesn't go well in the space at all and everyone including Becky, the team and the audience hate it. I get that you need to over blow contrasts in production design and that you can create color pops and tension with stark color contrast but that can't be applied here.

A pop of fun, a different, out of the box color for the space. Maybe if she painted the doors too, but it’s definitely not an eye sore, it’s memorable :)

      I don't know, I think she looks like a walking cliché out of a hipster magazine and gets too much screen time. It's telling that she was pushing for that color in the bedroom makeover and now it's the one thing that sticks out as one of the sorest thumbs/design decisions on this channel.

      I was thinking the same thing! I have a specific outfit that is trashed with paint and I wear it every time and it doesn’t matter how paint covered it gets lol. Same goes for play shoes, like yard work shoes!

      I’m with you. I’d also love to see them integrate the blue into the office with small alterations in other spaces. I love the black muntin wall and this wall, but my response to all the shades of sand is lukewarm at best.

    Love it but I think the pink you have in the boardroom would have been awesome on that side of the wall and an olive green or black on the entrance side would have been amazing!

    My only suggestion is that sometimes I notice some sloppy mistakes that are easily avoidable if you slowed down a bit and were more careful. In this video, I cringed a bit when the paint was hitting the ceiling and the neighboring walls a bit without proper taping off. I think taking the time to really be professional in each little detail would really level up your game and establish a really solid reputation for yourselves in the work you do. You guys are already leaders in your field, especially in areas of creativity and conceptualizing incredible designs, so taking the time to work on these small but important things will just add to what people love you for 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
