I have a method that may be interesting.
Dig the trench, placing the soil next to it, parallel.
Place the pots in the trench and push the soil back over.
Pack down a little around the small pots.
Carefully pull the small pot out as the soil keeps the shape of the pot.
Remove plant from pot and hopefully place without breaking the mold of soil and roots.
Perfect fit. Just water and any gaps will be filled with loose topsoil and your plant is less likely to suffer shock from packing on top of the roots.

If you want to save more time, dig the trench first, then place plants and cover with soil. Add water, you’re done.

    Double-handling; time consuming.

When you have such large area with so many wide raised beds I feel the latter's advantage is seriously eroded. Better to have a traditional garden instead.

Dang 4k in soil 1k in materials to build them not including fertilizer and all that fancy hosing to grow 400$ in produce per year. Sadly setups like these aren't exactly sustainable by the time you get returns on it youll need to replace them due to dry rot as I dont see liners in em and those certainly arent pressure treated. Nice setup any who just not practical.
