Is it possible to learn this as a beginner just from UI Path?

    • @quansten

if you know basic programming yes!

@@quansten basic programming like html css and java?

more general like understanding variables, loops, functions and in addition to that SQL. If you have that you should be able to start learning it kind of easily. html and css can be helpful but are not required in the everyday usage of UiPath

Hey ist der Beruf vergleichbar mit Controlling?

    • @quansten

Das kommt auf die Firma an. Ich habe Angebote für „Controller“ Stellen bekommen, die dann aber mit RPA/DWH Aufgaben waren

Hi Quansten, I know SQL (querying T-SQL, no advance stuff (trigger, programs, etc), basic VBA and about to get my UiPath citizen developer in 2-3 days. I am in dilemma about shaping my career path, I see possible choices as business analyst with sql, business process analyst, bi analyst, power bi developer, rpa developer. I work as financial analyst.
Power BI developer - I think this is the one I can make sh*t load of money, many jobs and remote options
BI analyst - some people say its becoming obsolote and big data will replace
Business analyst - within 2 weeks, I can get a job and pays nearly the same as bi analyst, but I am not people person:')
Business process analyst - kind of rpa process analyst, pays nearlly the same as business analyst, bi analyst
RPA developer - I like how it sounds, I liked UiPath, but not many jobs in Poland, I guess companies hired hundreads of developers in india to do their work or it is becoming obsolete..no idea..also the salary seems like the lowest among these jobs.
Coming to my question, which one do you think that has a good future? and have you heard of alteryx, do you think its something worth to learn or there is a better alternative, i keep seeing this in many job offerings

hey Kamran, thanks for your comment. really interesting to hear your thoughts especially since they are similar to mine. to keep it simple: if i were to apply for another job now or later it would be something involving automation(most of them are UiPath or Blueprism) because thats where i get the most fun/money/job security ratio and it will not be replaced by AI soon. The RPA situation here in germany seems growing (also better salary than BI analysts from the offers i got so far) but maybe it will be just like your country and flooded with employees from other countries too. But thats just speculation for now. i didnt hear of alteryx yet so i cant tell you if its worth learning or not. i dont know if thats an option but you might apply for jobs (mobile working) outside of poland if the situation doesnt improve

@@quansten and how about power bi/tableau developer? Do you think RPA developer would make much sense compared to BI developer? I also feel like going to BI/Data Engineering with rpa skills in the future would be overkill for the company to find such expert:)))
