Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! I think every airport should have this :p just very cheap sleep accommodations at the basement so when people have a layover or their plane get overbooked, delayed or cancelled you have the option to take a nap or stay the night :p

The bottom floor in Bangkok airport where they stayed is really peaceful compared with the floor above it which is always chaotic
That capsule looks SUPER cozy!🥰. After all the hours we've spent sleeping on airport benches, we think $56 is definitely worth it! Also, congrats on almost hitting 1 000 000 subscribers. That's just unbelievable!😊😊
Is that $56/capsule? If so, not good value. You can get clean, comfortable accommodation in BKK for $20/night with a bathroom. Plenty of guesthouses within a 10 minute ride of the airport.
@@kwhatten You're missing the point of the capsule completely. People don't want to have to leave the airport, find transportation, carry their luggage around and then do that all over again to get back to the airport a few hours later. This is an alternative to sleeping on an airport bench during a 7-hour layover, it cant be compared to a guest house 10 minutes drive away.
It’s only $10-$14/capsule but it’s outside of airport and they do have bathroom and breakfast included if you have any questions about Bangkok. I willing to help yall for free. More airports should install capsules, what a great idea!
Most won't because of the hotels that are close by. They are often built on airport property and the hotels have arrangements with the airports because of it, so they don't want the competition. Some airports will have them, most won't.

I think its a great idea. Let's say your flight t delayed for a several hours or cancelled to the next day. It's a convenient way to get some rest.
Hotels are expensive, so this would be a nice alternative and you don't have to go anywhere just to have to come back. This should be available in all airports
I used to work at Kennedy Airport, in the food court, and I can definitely see people being really happy about this. Sometimes people have connecting flights, but the times are different. People can stretch out in these pods. Traveling can be very tiring. Say you have small children, it would be nice for them to.

When I saw the intro and the check-in girl grab your arm I was thinking "Wow, they really don't fool around there".😂 And those escalators, holy crap, not for a weary traveler, that is for sure!!
Those escalators are actually fairly brilliant. You can use them while pushing a baggage cart--they grip the wheels and hold them steady, releasing them when you reach the bottom (or top). Very convenient.
