- Capsule hotel tour in Tokyo, Japan from the cheapest to most expensive! We explore all types of capsule hotels from advanced hotels to weird hotels to even some with vending machines in them! Plan your next trip for FREE with Magic Travel here: www.magictravel.ai/?r=livingb...
This is a capsule hotel tour and also a challenge to see who has the the world's best capsule hotel in Tokyo! During the video we tried many different types of capsule hotels from sleep pods in train stations to secret gaming capsule hotels to so much more! Now when traveling I’ve experienced capsule hotels in Asia including trying what I thought was the World’s Best Capsule Hotel ($9/night), to the world’s cheapest capsule hotel vs most expensive capsule hotel to even first class airplane seats that feel like capsule hotels to even a capsule hotel in the world’s cheapest county, however none of these topped these capsule hotels! This was the best capsule hotel I have ever seen in the world costing just $6 per night! All of these different sleep pod options looked more like the world’s most expensive airplane seat compared to a capsule hotel and while sleeping it also felt more like a micro studio / tiny home rather than a normal Tokyo capsule hotel! Enjoy this tokyo capsule hotel tour of a video!

Capsule hotels are amazing. They are crazy cheap, it's unbelievable. I also really liked that the doors of the capsules look easy to open so you don't feel "trapped" as for many people staying in a fully closed and tight room's a horrible feeling. I would absolutely try these hotels out
Capsule hotel is a fancy way of saying rent-a-coffin
honestly, the $6 hotel capsule was the best and most efficient for me
Right!? Also, having the sauna is insane!
Shinjuku Kuyakusho-mae Capsule Hotel?
@@LivingBobbydidn't give us the name bro..
would you mind sharing the names please? @@LivingBobby
@@LivingBobby i saw "men only on the website description at 0:12 . is the whole hotel men only or it's just separate for booking? any mixed area? im planning a trip to japan with my wife, this could just be one place to sleep at!
Between The Millenials for the bed and theatre set up or First Cabin for the luxury and comfort would be the go-to here.
Bobby squeezing the “super comfy comforter” in slo mo was more funny than it should’ve been
I was waiting for this video so much ❤❤
What sucks is how long it takes for you to upload but once the videos come out you realise why and its 100% worth the wait
is it though? he just rushes through shit, unlike his early videos - he clearly is doing this to keep being paid by youtube ads because he has amassed almost 3mil subs. i do not feel right to support such content, i'm afraid.
I suppose it does feel quite rushed he spends about 3 minutes on one thing I see what you mean but i still like his vids
Its most likely old content that he shot way back. He can live on a one trip vacation for years in youtube content. Bobby is a scam, Don't subscribe to him, He does all this for money.
@@vijay20 What I don't understand is why so many more youtubers keep doing ads within the videos themselves than back in around 2019.
Bobby is one of the best youtubers, I always come here to look for new vids bc they fit right down my lane! Cant wait for more and more content. We love you bobby!!
I actually really liked my capsule hotel in kyoto when I visited. Everyone is very courteous and low noise, which is the main thing I was worried about
Was waiting for a video! Been a while sir
Great video Bobby! Nice capsule hotels! Looks like you liked them!
This video single handedly completed my entire year, bobby's videos are on another level of quality and entertainment. Furthermore I can not wait to see what he has in store for 2024! Keep up the great work bobby.
Awww, thanks so much! So happy you enjoyed the video! Every video I try to make it better and better for you guys :) And so much to come in 2024!
But pls not one vid every month💀💀
Yesss Bobby Uploaded
I have been wondering when you’d post another video living Bobby but I’m glad that you did
Your videos are arguably the best on the whole CZcams platform, been watching for about a year now, and can’t wait for the next upload, please keep it up Bobby, you make my day
I love capsules hotels series ❤😍
So happy you enjoy them :D
Yayy new vid been a while looking forward for the next vid bobby
Wish you would post more Bobby. Your videos helped me sm with my depression. I would love to see longer videos.
go learn how to box
that capsule in the metro station was wild!
Right!?
Awesome job Bobby thumb up and congratulations on moves to parks with Lucia I saw I t last week
i miss your vids! this is great =)
Not gonna lie, Bobby's Videos are some of the most fun videos to watch. like any other country food reviewer cant do this much...
Another bobby vid, nice. Capsule pods are crazy. Couldn't imagine myself in one, I'm fat 😂
Yeahhhh new Bobby video!
Love ur video ❤
Have you ever thought about visiting the Pokémon Centers in Japan?
They have those!?
Yes
Tokyo and Kyoto for example
There’s even Pokémon vending machines
Tokyo is living ahead of the world 😍
It would be nice if you named/linked the capsule hotels. I have no idea where you stayed except for the train station one.
Bobby you make me want to go out and see the world 🌏
GET OUT THERE :D
I assume that since capsules have been around for awhile, there are no security concerns? I'd feel a little uneasy sleeping in such close quarters without a lock on my room. The floating one is my favorite.
Love your video's Bobby .
Now imagine an individual capsule room with your own personal vending machine 😅
BOBBY BACK IN JAPAN AND
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE IT SOON
After months.
Haha, we out here :D
@@LivingBobby😂
Balance was running low

Month *
Honestly the $6 hotel is the most interesting and would love to find out more about this and similar ones as a whole point of it is to have a night sleep and wash as you want to be out exploring but relaxed and washed at the end of the day
Finally another video
Id love to see some capsules for two people
Bobby's back!!
HES BACK!!!
Honestly, not being much of a techie, I would be happier with the pools and sauna in the $6 one than most of the others (with the possible exception of the first class plane cabin).
Was waiting for this guys video🤝😄
so nice to have u back
Once COVID hit the videos kinda felt like a montage of clips from your other videos, which made sense since couldn’t really travel but I thought it would’ve eventually went back.
Let’s gooooo new video!!!!
Bobby upload? Instant W day
Its A Hotel Video Love these
Enjoy man!
Imo the best capsule hotel was the gaming one, i am a full time gamer, and evn with the space to watch movies, that's amazing. If i ever go to Japan, thx bobby, now i know where i will stay heheh
Heck, I'd just be happy to have a secure place I could sleep for $6. I wouldn't care as much about things like a shower or extra amenities. I mean I would like access to a shower but if it was just for one night, I could see skipping one possibly. I'm hoping that maybe more companies will pick up on on the capsule-hotel idea in the US and we can see more of these, especailly in some areas like airports and train stations, where people can rest between flights for example (if you have a long layover, say 4+ hours). I mean even if it was say $50 a night in the US for a capsule hotel in an airport I think a lot of people would take advantage of that, especially if they didn't have to leave the airport and go back through security again. You would just have capsule hotels located say at the ends of terminals or perhaps a separate area of the airport that is within the security zone (ie. after security) but still accessible but away from the day-to-day traffic in the airport. I think this would be a good market someone could get into.
After a whole monthe but still this notification made my day
Least favorite is the train station capsule, and my favorite is the large one with the screen door.
Cool!
Loved it
2:27 omg it also has dbd am so surprised xD
I can’t wait to go to Japan one day it would be such a dream come true
I've seen those clips from older videos already,
A 2nd channel livingbobby I would subscribe to to see longer reviews of the places he visits
I’ve been waiting 😢finally
I like the first capsule hotel, because it's so cheap, and the spa is excellent. A person could live there instead of renting an apartment.
Availability of a nearby toilet would be very important to me.
I stayed at Pocket Hotel in Kyoto. It was excellent, but I found it hard to find toilets.
Would you recommend the first 2 capsules over a regular hotel for solo/paired trips? I prefer to be out and about most hours possible then bookending it with sleep and a shower, and possibly bags of souvenirs/food
Capsule hotels are in general, way worse than regular hotels. If you can get a regular hotel, it is much more worth it.
@@epicow_1973 How does it compare to a hostel? I stayed in one once and had a great time
@@knuclear200x theyre nice a lot of yhe time, but the bathrooms, large beds, windows, and desks of a normal hotel usually make it more fun to stay in. It feels more like you're in an actual room.
Your opinion is your opinion, just because I dont think capsule hotels are as good as regular ones doesnt mean you need to agree.
Great question! So, first thing. If you are a very light sleeper you will most likely wake up. HOWEVER, if you don't mind a bit of noise. DO IT! Tokyo is super expensive for a hotel which are also very small (130 sqft or 12sqm). So in my opinion capsule hotels (if well rated) are the way to go! Also, in my experience its quite fun to experience something new in a hotel stay
What’s the name of the first capsule hotel that is $6?
Strange question but are the capusle beds available to purchase for personal use in a home
Good to see toy back Bobby
Top 2 were cool. But my favorite has to be the $75/night room. IT is what I imagined when I first heard the name capsule hotel
Yeah, first cabin is incredible! A first class experience in a capsule hotel!
@@LivingBobby Cheering me up while still in hospital, going on 2 months now. Takes my mind off things. Still recovering from covid pneumonia.
The floating capsules would be perfect in the quiet place universe lol
If I was a single man living in Tokyo I could easily live full time in the first Hostel. I personally prefer the minimalistic approach to travel and living so a small pod with enough space to sleep and read or watch TV is almost too spacious
What was the name of the cheapest capsule and what area is it located in Tokyo?
Lmao, I have the same mouse from the second hotel. I had to do a double take when it popped up xD
Please do more travel vlogs.
I e stayed at first cabin before, amazing place
I love my job and my comment section ❤❤
❤😊❤😊
Really want to go to Japan. Thinking I might do a short trip, eat cheap and stay in capsules
Yo this video makes me want to try a capsule hotel so badly
(The gamer one is something of dreams🛌💭)
Oh my god he’s back!
we missed you bobby
BOBBY you should do a H mart food review!!!
Hey Bobby there’s a new sleeper train in Europe which has capsules on it. It’s ran by night jet in Austria.
I've stayed at The Millenials in Shibuya twice and had no idea about that projector screen feature! (Prolly because I was dragging in drunk, lol!)
Man i would live in the first one for years! It's much cheaper than an appartement!
Where would you keep a suitcase in most of these? Is there separate storage? Also what are the showers and bathrooms like?
Hey bobby!
Do You love beyblade too?
I still have my metal series collection to this day😅
What, no Bobby Rolls? LOL :)
They're great. But you should talk about secure storage. Most people have a large check in bag and carry ons, and without a lockable door you just gotta hope no one messes with your stuff. Also imagine that you have to share the bed with your luggage and hope whatever dirt it collected rolling on the ground or the baggage handling system of the airports isn't getting all over your bed.
Your bed turning into a coach to wake you up 😂😆🤣
oh they're all so cool
"With there being" 😂😂😂
I went to 9hrs it was really cool, my quality of sleep was not good though. The slippers were loud people coming in and out all night. Definitely I will
bring my headphones or earplugs to block out the noise.
What is the name of the floating capsule? Which city? Any information on when it officially opens?
always a good day when LivingBobby uploads
Awww, have the best day ever!
Bro pls do some content in Malaysia love you watched you since 6 years ago❤❤❤❤
NOICE!
Mannnn remember when you were selling coffee, umbrellas and flipping storage units, omg how about when you did some personal training hahahaha man you’ve came a long way. Miss your old $10 to $1000 videos
I feel like this is a reload from an old video… I’ve definitely seen this before
I feel too wide for this🤣
Good luck coming back to America with the wars going on Bobby. I bet travels will be difficult
Let's go 😎😎😎
No problem with sleeping. I look like a dragon eye roll when i'm sleeping 😅😊
If I had an overnight layover, I'd be down. Just not the mattress on the old bathtub capsule at the beginning.
Early gangg!!
wellllllcome :D
Tokyo is soooo cool i wanna go there so bad
goat is back 🎉
I am an old fan who hasn't watched you in a while
5th view first comment and I love these videos.
Broo why didn't you get sponsored by Magic earlier. Wish I knew about it when I was in Singapore last month 😭
