- Vending machine challenge to live on the world's best vending machines for 1 entire week. Although many think this is an impossible challenge I found unique Japanese vending machines that you’ve never seen before of a pizza vending machine, a 7-eleven vending machine, McDonalds, dominos pizza and Pepsi vending business, KFC and much more!
During the video there were definitely some weird vending machines you’ve never seen before, but also some that had amazing food, even if they were vending machine foods! I found these vending machines inside gas stations, fast food restaurants, and even a capsule hotel! Enjoy my reaction to this week long challenge and let me know the ones you would give 1 star reviews to or 5-star reviews! For me these are the best vending machines everywhere from Tokyo, Japan to the entire world! Enjoy this never before seen video!

I love vending machines. From the normal ones (coffee, snacks) to these unique ones. I just think they're neat!

Depends on the state i guess, in FL we inspect these kind of vending machines; we just have nothing in the way of variety of machine food that Japan has.

I was thinking, yo this is a cool list for all-time great vending machines around the world! Then I realise they're all in Singapore?! wtf? I've never seen any of these other than the orange juice and chef in a box.
When in Japan 40 years ago, I was overwhelmed by the sheer variety of vending machines. It was possible to buy Coca-cola, hot and cold beverages and cigarettes in the usual manner. What really surprised me was that it was possible to buy razor blades, shampoo, shoe polish and shirts! I find the selection you have in Singapore absolutely mind-blowing! You are 100% right about the trust that exists between the machine owner and the shopper. It's all down to mutual respect.
Aren't there safeguards or such for the razors?
@@HelloEarthling I am not aware of any... I think that customers were trusted to use the vended items safely and responsibly.

I was in Japan back in 1990. Yes, the variety of items for sale through vending machines is uncanny! It was overwhelming & fascinating. I remember a decade or two ago they were selling young women’s used panties from machines (they were packaged in small cardboard boxes like public laundromat detergent).
Well there's certainly not beating out-they have vending machines where you can buy used female panties

as a local, im pretty sure no one (people i know or other locals) actually really uses these machines tho.... I think its the stereotype that anything(not frozen) from vending machines are comparatively not as good as getting the real thing from a market or a foodplace. Hence to many locals, it doesnt make sense to get orange juice from a vending machine because of the assumption that you may not get the best oranges or have a choice. Instead u will find many others queueing up at a fruit juice stall. Next, the stuff like coconuts or other readily-ingestible consumables in those vending machinese are actually sold in stores and supermarkets. For e.g, the $4.50 coconut is less than $4 at supermarket. Saving those few cents may mean nothing to some viewers but in SG it means the world cos we dont like paying more than what we should. lol

Are these vending machines in Singapore more for tourists? They seem more gimmicky than anything else- I would rather get food from the local markets, I can only imagine how delicious and fresh everything is.
Its not gimmicky its convenient and quick. A lot of ppl just dont have time to go to the markets and wait in line.

That is so cool. I never see so much vending machines that can make food for you. It's awesome. When I saw the KFC moving vending machine, McDonald's vending machine, that is awesome. If we have that sort of thing back in the United States, the people working at them food chains will be out of the job.

If only US adopted this but just like Singapore where freshness is key and a selling point... We have vending machines but not to this scale I think it's awsum, comvininent and unique not to mention owners would save thousands because it's automated ...
Not to mention this would also be a great boon for those with social anxiety and shut-ins. Getting something to snack on and light exercises while taking short trips to these machines.
The reason why this works in Singapore/Japan is people are respectful and respectable.
This would never work in the USA, people would destroy them and steal from them.

I would totally want this at university. There are only school supplies, snack, and juice vending machine. Need more good affordable quick meals vending machines.
I was thinking the same thing. Like in a mall, just create a food court that has vending machines serving different cuisines. But the key is, the meals have to be fresh and affordable

As a Jakartan I've visited Singapore a lot, but I've never used them even once, nor have I seen even one local friends and relatives use them either, it's a wonder how they're keeping these afloat. I don't think it's a big enough part of the culture like the Japanese vending machines, which are used by some regular locals and a lot of interested tourists. Also Japanese ones actually boasts cheaper price than storebought, these ones don't.

These vending machines are sick! About the "Big One" claw machine. I thought the name sounded familiar. I realized it was what I was thinking by the giant yellow buttons. I work at an arcade/restaurant and we have that claw machine. It breaks down so much. Lol. Also, I'm pretty sure they are rigged. You could clearly see it had Winnie the Poo but opened up slightly to drop it. You didn't hear this from me but we closed ours down one day because people were winning too much... We had a couple come in for their anniversary and wanted to play it because this was the place they went on their first date and the guy won something for his girl. We reopened it for them and of course, they won. Yeah, it's not a surprise. All arcade games and especially claw machines are rigged. They are designed so that so many will fail before someone wins.
