- The BMW F82 M4 CS is a very interesting car, sitting between a standard car and the GTS variant, it fits a very specific niche of buyer. This beautiful example is finished off in Individual Lime Rock Gray Metallic over Black Full Merino Leather with Alcantara and features every factory M Performance part you could equip on a CS. The owner has also added Catless Downpipes, a Bootmod3 Stage 2 Tune, Macht Schnell Lowering Springs, Wheel Spacers, and a gorgeous set of 18" Satin Black HRE R43 wheels. 100% agree it does look better but the Only thing about the 2021 m4/m3 is that they sound better than any f80 m4/3. This CS sounds like shit just like the others.

@@heavyevo quite the opposite tbh especially due to the opf fitted to the new g80 which mutes the sound.
The CS engine also harkens the return of the lightweight magnesium oil sump with an additional oil pick up point which leads to higher lateral/longitudinal g force limits (1.4g) than the non-CS S55 units excluding the GTS. That’s why the engine oil capacity in the CS/GTS is an extra ~.5 liter.

Nice video! Exhaust tones are sick haha. I have the Equal Length AA midpipe but dam that m performance sounds good it’s just so dam pricey. But for price range that car is more for a collecter or investment since CS / GTS models dont depreciate much.

The value is in the sum of its parts, the CS comes with a host of carbon goodness good fenders roof and trunk I believe as well as upgraded power upgraded steering software and dampeners etc. The exhaust I would go for the Akropovic although some say the MPE is made by Akropovic the MPE has an issue with cracked welds or something like that I remember reading. The CS also gets the cool seats with the M stripes with the cut outs and full Marino leather. I guess it’s whatever fits your budget but turning a standard M4 or M4 comp won’t be much cheaper than getting a CS and especially now finding a good deal used is a reality. I believe it’s like 2018 or 19 and older MPEs that had that problem. I think they fixed it but could be wrong.

I’d much rather buy a base and build it up, that’s half the fun to these cars. Also save yourself a huge chunk of money, M tax is crazy

The huge markup is the price you pay for having less than a handful of these in your state

Great video! I'm looking for a M3 and probably going to end up buying one early next year... But I was wondering.. I want the color to be that nardo grey color (limerock grey) and there are BMW M3 CS that have that color but they were limited edition and are about 20 - 10ish grand over the normal M3... should I go for a normal M3 preferably black and wrap it and do all the mods.. or get the CS?

Got an F83 M4 comp cab also which I’ve had the same mapping put into & all the CS parts, bonnet, steering wheel, front/rear splitter & defuser, larger M-performance brakes on both…400/380 mm discs, 6/4 piston calipers.

Sadly, the M performance exterior carbon bits don’t add overall value to the car. If the car was specd or they were installed later, the owner takes a hit on it when they sell or trade.

Wish u reviewed a pure cs, rather than a m4 comp with cs interior. Boggles my mind how the owner decided to tune over the cs tune. If he was gonna do that he could've just gotten an m4 comp 💀

@SimplyCarThings what I'm trying to say is u should've reviewed a pure stock cs. The bm3 tune pretty much negates the point of cs, which corrected the torque spike and smoothness of the car. The bm3 tune basically turned the cs into any other tuned m4 comp with increased boost. Yeah the interior is cs, but the main focus of the cs was the correction of the power delivery + the handling using the oem suspension with the tires.
@@letmeknow4167 That's a fair point, and if i had access to a completely stock CS, sure i would've reviewed it. But unfortunately i don't have these sorts of sports cars at my regular disposal for review purposes. So when the opportunity was given to review this CS, i jumped on it. And quite honestly even with the bm3 tune the CS felt noticeably different than a regular M4 or even comp model. its a lovely machine
@SimplyCarThings I think it was a great video and would make the future review of a stock m3/m4 cs even better. U will be able to compare the difference between the two. Who knows I could be wrong and the modded one might be better.
