My Testimony | Denouncing D9 Sorority, Celebrity Worship, & Idolatry

- Last year, I went on a fast that led me to seek God on a deeper level. I had been dealing with anxiety, having bad dreams, and even random thoughts of premature death. I prayed and sought God during that fast and the word that came up for me was idolatry.
I had no idea what this meant for me… how could I possibly have idols in my life? Lord, nothing is more important than you. I asked to see more and He revealed it to me.
Modern day idolatry is tricky because it’s not always obvious as in biblical times.
What you fear can become an idol.
What you trust can be an idol.
Your children can become idols.
You can make celebrities idols.
You can make people idols.
Vanity, looks, and likes can be idols.
Influence, fame, and social media can be an idols.
You can even turn SELF into an idol.
Last but not least, idolatry is rooted in the foundation of Sororities, Fraternities, OES, and Freemasonry.
We all have idols in our lives and God is calling His people out of idolatry, in all forms, in this season.
I pray that God gives you the eyes to see and ears to hear this message. If you’re curious and want to read more on idolatry yourself, here are some scriptures that may be helpful to you:

1. Repent (turn away from the sin completely)
2. Renounce (the previous covenant you made)

Beautiful testimony! Since all this denouncing stuff, that's been my biggest thing, "ask God if there's ANYTHING in your life that He wants you to remove, disassociate, etc...." and listen... but that's a really scary question because He will CERTAINLY remove any props that are currently where HE should be
Same/similar thing happened to me with the Usher Vegas residency…the very first one. SMH. I didn’t “hear” you’re not going, but litchrally a month or so after I bought my ticket, I FELT in my spirit that I wasn’t going. I tried my hardest to ignore it and push it out the way. Needless to say, what I felt was correct. Didn’t go. Tried to sell my ticket AND COULD NOT SELL IT! Caesars Palace. New Years Eve. A FLOOR SEAT. Usher Raymond. Now I was heated twice. Cant go, and can’t sell?!? Plus by the time it came down to the wire to sell it, my seat was worth over $2,000.😳Heated thrice. After it was all said and done, I heard God this time. He said to me, “you shouldn’t have bought it in the first place”.🥴Also, I’ve renounced/denounced The Order of The Eastern Star/Order of Cyrene (PHA) many years ago, so I totally get both sides of the coin of your experience. I just recently shared the first part vid of me renouncing the music industry. Many are called, but few are chosen for the path. Praying for you as you continue to walk this path as TMH has chosen for you!🙏🏾Subscribed!

Thank you for your heart posture obedience! It was revealed to me last year that I had an idolatry around marriage. I never realized I did or thought I’d put the desire above God, but after reflection it should up in the way I would approach and “cultivate” relationships. The limitations I put on God to show up in my life, because I deemed somethings only possible with a husband (not speaking about child bearing), but things like buying a house or support for my business. I’m so thankful for the Holy Spirit and living word aka BIBLE that frees and heals us.

Girls it's about those actions! Even if Beyonce said she worship Jesus the Holy Spirit should let you know it's a lie. People can say whatever out their mouth, it's their actions and reputation that speak louder. Stay working towards the light and don't be easily fooled or you will be easily destroyed. She's very talented but she has gotten darker and more occult as she aged so I been distancing myself from her ... she's cursed

Also now it sounds like you idolizing your friends. They aint all that if they not sold out for Jesus and idolizing Delta, elephants, and Minerva. There's only light vs dark and heaven vs hell. No in-between. One is better than the other. Just make sure you're on the winning team. Simple. You still need serious deliverence ... keep pushing for it
