- In this new season of From the Ground Up, 2018 NASCAR champion Joey Logano joins us to
build a 1935 Factory Five Hot Rod Truck - but this isn’t your standard hot rod build. A tube
frame chassis coupled to one of Joey’s 800HP round-winning Ford cup motors
means outrageous amounts of power in a stiff, lightweight and reliable platform.

Bravo *Snap-on Tools* I remember the Snap-on truck showing up at the shop in the early 70ies. Couldn't afford the tools then still can't.
@MrRebar15 you could afford Snap-on in the 70’s, you didn’t want to spend the money. Understandable. If you really meant you couldn’t afford Snap-on it either means you were underplayed as an employee or didn’t do quality enough work to get a higher rate. So you were a mechanic in the early 70’s? You mean to say you are still a mechanic and still can’t afford Snap-on? So let’s say you were 20 years old in 1975. You made the comment in 2000. So you are 60 ish now and have been a mechanic 45 years? What exactly do you do as a mechanic?

This is my first time watching a Snap-on From the Ground Up episode, and I got to say that is an awesome truck! Everything from the custom roll cage chassis, to the engine, it's insane! I love it.
The Snap-On Half inch drive impact has always been my favorite! Get's anything and everything on or off!
What a great build! A cup motor, Sequential shifter and AC. Love it!
Also loved the Snap-on indexable ratchet. That is one cool tool.
That is hands-down the most wicked truck I've ever seen! The Snap On indexable ratchet would be an awesome addition to my Snap On collection!
The Snap-On swivel rachet wrench is awesome, definitely a favorite!
The drift pickup is super RAD. Its definitely my fav thus far.
Snap on tools and Factory Five...what a combo...and being OLD and Old school love that drift truck
All the details that go in to the build is sick not a stepped missed. They do some great work.
This is by far my favorite Snap-On build so far with that motor/trans combo.
Without question, my favorite factory five car is the 33 coupe/roadster.
What a beautifully engineered piece of work.
Great to see so many talented guys puttin this rig together !
35 Drift Truck!!! Love the ground up videos. Thank you.
Cool build. Definitely looking forward to seeing this thing running. I am impressed with the features of the digital torque wrench. Being able to change units with the push of a button would be super handy.
This is by far my favorite build! NASCAR Engine, sequential trans and Snap-On's!...for shore!
This 1935 Factory Five Hot Rod Truck Is My Favorite Snap-On Build!!!
Everything about this build is Flawless!
THIS BUILD IS MY FAVORITE! I WAS PUMPED TO SEE THAT A HOT ROD TRUCK IS NOW AVAILABLE.
It's a tough choice all the tools are amazing, proud fan and advocate of snap on tools. The snap on digital torque wrenches are always amazing, have the smallest 3/8 drive one and have always loved it so ofcourse i am definitely liking the newer style with a higher torque rating, but that cordless 14.4v drill was definitely my favorite from this build. Being an automotive tech you never know what space you might have to squeeze a drill into to get the job done right.
Awesome build guys.
35 is my favorite
I think it’s great Joey added windows and a/c to a cup powered truck!
Just unheard of and awesome!
I would have to say that this is my favorite build. Joey is one of the best and comes from my state so I'm a big fan. Thanks for a chance to win.
My favorite build is the NEXT one! Keep em coming.
This 1935 Factory Five Hot Rod Truck Is My Favorite Snap-On Build by far, the amount of pure engineering that went into this build is insane.
Awesome build! I like the 12 point flex head double end wrench.

This is by far my favorite build.
The Daytona is definitely my favorite build, though this is a close second. I have allllways loved the Daytona, and modernized, it's an absolute dream car.
Drifting with the AC cranked. Bad assery right there. My fav so far. Keep em coming....
That f80mp multi position ratchet is nice! Something me and my grandpa add to our tool box!
This build is definitely my favorite so far!
I like them all. have been using many in the shop on many builds and they are great!
1935 Factory Five Hot Rod Truck is DEFINITELY my favorite.. super jealous!
My favorite has to be the Snap-On Electric Torque Wrench! That preset feature is really cool.
That 35 truck is easily my favorite. Damn!
Impressive craftsmanship both on the truck and the tools
My favorite 35 drift truck. Snap on indexable ratchet is sick buying one when the tool truck shows up
This has been my favourite build to date
In all honesty I would have to say that so far this will definitely be my favorite build!!! I love this series and the great garages series!! I've watched pretty much every single episode. Keep it coming please! I would absolutely love to win that ratchet I already know a few uses for it.
My favorite has been my set of quarter inch drive medium depth sockets, been great for electronics in tight spaces
The flex head ratcheting wrenches were pretty cool! I know of a couple times they would’ve came in handy for me!
Favourite Snap on product is electric torque wrench, cool bit of kit
The snap on tools factory five truck build was amazing!
The light weight variable speed drill looks fantastic.
Must be nice to have deep pockets!
He worked his ass off for it. He’s earned his lifestyle.
Deep pockets? This is pure snap-on advertising budget.
Loving the truck. Can't wait for the next segment of the build.
By far this build is my favorite

I have a roadster that I am very proud of, 600+HP 2100lbs. Now I need that coupe I liked that build it stoked my desire even more.
The digital torque wrench is my favorite tool shown.
Amazing what a car and what tools every mans dream love em Larry in London x
That E Q-wrench is badass.
Great build.
Thus 35 Hot Rod Truck is my favorite and can't wait for it to be completed.
How much was the engine? I didn’t catch the price the first 2849392273 times he mentioned it.
when the engine and diff was on the fork lift he said 100 k worth or so..and then later talking about 80k worth of engine itself...
I just heard him say $80,000.
I expected to see some building, this is assembling!
That's how these guys roll, buy it in from specialist companies. Hi spec gear though.
Hot rod truck was my favorite just the idea that goes into something like that is a dream for me
Factory Five Hot Rod Truck is the best yet, Everything is top of the line.. Tools Too..
What a killer drift truck! Gotta love that tech angle torque wrench.

That snap on adjustable ratchet is too much. Finally one ratchet for multi purpose. Great idea

🍊range peel
I love them all! Great job!
Loving this build!
This build is my favorite
This definitely has to be my favorite. Sequential transmissions are the best!
I want to see what this preforms like, but this might be my favorite build because of the simplicity yet precision that it takes to build, kind of like snap on tools haha
The digital torque wrench is my favorite. I started out with a beam wrench years back then moved on to the clicker style. I have tool box full of torque wrenches. Having just one at the shop and track would make my day. Foot pounds or newton meters no longer a math problem. billy
Great tools used on this truck.
That new ratchet is the whip. This one is my favorite build so far. 👍
This is my favorite episode because it shows everything you can do with snap on send me that Rachet
great build, i love the 1/2" drive impact but torque wrench and rachet wrenches follow close behind. Factory Five, Ford and Snap-On can't get any better!!!!
Electric Torque wrench has got to be my favorite
The drift truck build. Great video!
That Ratchet is the Ships. LOL , well just found the channel I'll look and see which one of the builds I like the best, but this will be hard to beat. Now I know what I want for Christmas next year. Factory 5 are very cool
I really like the close up creeper seat
35 ford truck definitely my favorite truck I'd build with Snap~On tools. Although that coupe is beast as well.
When Is the tools give away?
Drift Truck is the new fav! Can’t wait to see what you guys do to the GTF when FFR releases it!
I love the truck, but the 65 Coupe is my hands down favorite!
Brand New '35 Ford Race Truck is perfection. This is one of Joey's best vehicles to come out of the garage.
My favorite build so far is the 1935 Ford work truck , but that's only because you have not built a 1991 to 1996 C4 Corvette project canyon rocket yet. :)
Keith Lane
PS. Does Snap-On make a 1/2" drive, eight point , 5/16" socket? I need it for driving square drive drills and reamers on an IDL / Van Norman valve seat, and valve guide machine.
I think this drift truck is my favorite so far!
First videao I've watched cause it showed up in my recommended vids to watch. Keep up the good work guys! Love the build so far.
