I use the multi-mitt method where I have 1 mitt for 1-2 panels and get a new one for the next panel. This greatly reduce washing time as I don’t have to rinse the mitt in water after each panel wash. Just need to rinse all the used mitts one shot with water pressure afterwards.

Owh nice! You can also get a washing machine, dedicated one to clean all the mitts after use haha

IMHO Foam is the enemy and is not needed for glossy surfaces but Im glad you showed every method. I dont use any buckets, just a pump pack and after each two panels I discard the mitt to another one or high pressure rinse the mitt and re spray with pump pack. each to their own

I've had a combo of these methods you did. Always trying to minimize washing time and reduce marring as much as possible. Hose rinse + bucket, wash wax in a spray and wipe (light rain film) is my most used method for sure. 😁

Owh nice! 👍🏻, polishing is work of an afternoon while washing work of a lifetime! Haha

One method I do sometimes is use a rinse bucket with a grit guard and instead of a soap bucket I used 1:10 car soap in a spray bottle and spray my wash mitt directly. This saves time and water but because it is so strong it can strip wax.

Owh! Means you have a clean source of shampoo being dispenses (sprayed) unto the mitt and a rinse bucket. How about diluting it 1:20 or more?

@@OSRENOfficial This is a new technique so I have not experimented with 1:20 yet. I think it will work just as good and be safer for the wax/sealant I will have to try.

Nice video Henry but i have 2 questions.
    1. What the bad effect if we use Sponge?
    2. WashMitt needs to be changed to the new one if there is rashness or rudeness on WashMitt's face. How long is WashMitt life expectancy to be rudeness like the one above for the Car Wash Center?
    Thanks 😉

      Hi Amirul ilyas!
      1. Sponges generally don’t trap loose dust / sand as good as wash mitts. However if you have a strong pressure washer to rinse off all the loose dirt / sand, then sponge with shampoo as lubrication will not have any bad effect
      2. Wash mitt like towels overtime as you use, the fibres will wear out and harden, when so, it will cause wash marrings. It is hard to say that a certain wash mitt can last X amount of time, but, when the wash mitt is not wet and you feel, it feels rough / stiff, then it is time to change to a new one

Exactly what foamer are you using? Do they come in a bigger size? And where do you get them? Thank you.

@@OSRENOfficial sounds good. I will look for goiziper. I know I've seen ik foamer. That one in the video had an even spray pattern and the ik foamer always seems to be heavy on the outside of the spray. Thank you

    What brand you use foamer?

  • @natnut2008

You forgot to mention the 8th method. Pre-wash with foamer/pressure foam jet applied shampoo and then rinsing off(touchless method) before handwashing with the before-mentioned 7 methods. Prewash removes the loose dirt that can potentially mar the paint before you proceed to handwashing.

Thanks for watching and sharing your methods! Maybe I could have include method 9 to use a decontamination (iron remover) prior to washing as well! :)
