    Just want to say thank you frank for posting this. Ive seen joe on robertsons channel and I've followed his posts on social media. Hes a great thinker and has unique perspective much like you. He's not in it for the money. I think you, and Joe Nemelka are what make this sport better.

    It would be good to see Joe Nemelka pigeons competing in the international races like Africa Pro & Pattaya etc .

      Joe has had success in the South African Million Dollar Race. With the endless one loft races in the USA and Joe only having 12 pair of breeders, I am amazed he is able to compete like he does.

    Club racing is hard for the young family man . Working full time and trying to train the birds and take care of the kids &wive 🧒 is borderline impossible.

    Great video . After watching this I definitely need a mentor . I’m crying out for a mentor . Frank can you make videos showing how to hold a pigeon and check vents , etc. I’m a novice and it seems everyone talks a great game but no one actuall has anytime to help someone as green as me.
    I think one loft racing is great for new racers so they can be competitive right away while they learn to feed and train and maintain racers properly on the club level. Losing can motivate and also discourage new flyers . This is a wonderful video and Hoe is awesome. I’m glad I have something from his bloodlines by way of James at Roberson Family Racing Pigeons. Really looking forward to more Joe. Thanks again Frank for such a great video .

      I will try to do more of a beginner series. Try to find someone locally that can help with the basics. The AU has a Help a Beginner Program which put new fanciers with mentors. Nemelka has super bloodlines.

    Nowadays i see fanciers selling pigeons from 2017 and i wonder why people are buying these pigeons .No one is selling a good breeder because there are no much good breeders .People are buying pedigrees and that's a shame .Another great video , like you this man knows what he's talking about .

  • @bottle_coke
    @bottle_coke Před 8 měsíci +3

    People rather buy a bird that raced mediocre but bred directly by a "big" name breeder than a super pigeon that have great race results with little to no info in pedigree. 🤡🤡🤡

    • @ThundercatLoft
      @ThundercatLoft Před 8 měsíci +1

      You can see it when they auction off birds after race is over. Any birds from a big name go for more. Then birds in front of them. Makes no sense.

    • @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons
      @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons  Před 8 měsíci +3

      That is the sport. People buy pedigrees but the serious fanciers look for performance.

    • @bottle_coke
      @bottle_coke Před 8 měsíci +1

      Performance > fancy pedigree
