Wolverine's bone claws were not replaced with adamantium they were coated with adamantium there's a difference. His origin story ruined the weapon x storyline of which of his memories were fake giving it a mystery
I think the idea was older than this, they had the "Moon Clan" living in Ancient Canada. (During Celestial's first host right?) Also had Maximus Lobo claimed much the same thing with his "Dominant Species" another sub-species of Feral-Type Mutants... So the "Lupus-Sapien" thing might not be so much a lie but more a myth, as the "Wolf" mutation has been inherited for generations...
This is what sucks the worse about loving all the original stuff as it came out......they did just about everything...even the what ifs... So now to capture the next generation as well as beat some more money outta the franchise they allow some wacked new takes on something that usually ends up killing the franchise off.....like neon colors in Gi joe and Batman in the 90s.....the Entire new trilogy of star wars with Rey PALPATINE????....and things like this. Not a mutant???? Some things are just best left alone.😮
Wolverine Origins were quite intriguing.. although, it didn't seem like they actually could figure out a satisfying conclusion.. particularly, since it's gone nowhere since.. Logan storylines just start getting ridiculously frequent with no direction really
I always thought the Lupus Sapian were meant to be a type of mutant. Just like you have your Telepaths, your energy wielders, people who manipulate nature etc.
So he was part Lupus Sapien, then he's not, then he is? This shit is just confusing. Honestly, I don't understand why people were originally so upset with the Lupus Sapien origin story. Just because it would've proven him not mutant? Well, then say he was a mutant of the Lupus Sapien race. Honestly, sometimes critics can be too damn hyper critical.
If logan will have an slow, months/years long genetic metamorphosis, like the insmouth fishy-frog people, it will be fire🤩😤😎☠️hes (and especially logan as old man venom) also remind me of the slavic strigoi-varcolak-krvoijac-kosac, that are big part of the origin of modern witches-werewolfs-vampires.
I’m glad I found this video because I was only able to catch a small glimpse of this storyline and I liked what I’ve seen so far. Does anyone know if there’s an omnibus of this series?
This comic take was pretty high level idiotic. I mean it's doesn't even come in the top 100 idiotic things Marvel has done in the last 5 years alone, but Wolverine not a mutant but a werewolf is definitely in the idiotic spectrum.
Maybe they just suck at writing? I don't think we should be so quick to think anything, particularly good or bad, is immediately AI. People still suck.. never forget
@@thebatman6201 I agree. But I believe that, had they actually written it, they would have noticed how many times they repeat the same information within the videos.
Sad that the lupine story has been retconned as a lie. Loving werewolves and Wolverine, but hating X-men and Mutants (their comics are embarassing and super cringe), this new Wolverine origins were really good for me

Always something with wolvy
A very interesting take really

So how about Romulus is he still alive?!
I want him to be come a last boss for MARVEL Wolverine game!!
Its only me, or the retactable claws could be "feline sapiens thing"? Some cats spieces can have hairy and rough look like wolfs

Wow...there's...so much wrong here🤔
It's never lupus.
I’m glad this fell out of favor.

Just when I thought AI scripts were done for, you make another one... At least revise it to avoid redundancies and repeated statements...

I prefer this over him being a mutant actually
Funnily, this would still make him a mutant. He is just a mutant of HIS species rather than the Homosapiens like assumed.
@@RazielTheUnbornexactly 💯% correct. I can still get behind this concept. The marvel universe is ever changing.
This storyline was absolutely trash
narrator made this video so boring
Sad that the lupine story has been retconned as a lie.

These modern bastardization of classic characters and stories is absolute trash.
