I get this is just your opinion but, I think people really do not understand what competitiveness is. Genuinely. Goresh isn't "toxic", people just throw that word around so much that at this point it means nothing (reddit). He is just a competitive person, that's all. Allow me to explain: Calling out a bad play by another player isn't "mean" or toxic, it's to make people learn and understand so they don't pick up bad habits while watching his videos. We know he desires for himself and others to improve at the game as he has made a few PVP guide videos over the years and they have massive views. If he stays silent, people might think those are actually smart plays high level players use. He also calls this out when he makes a mistake as well. Not to mention, he also calls out good plays when his opponents outwit him. If someone uses a melee blue card from long range like an idiot, I hope he would call that out. The thing about him getting annoyed is literally a criticism I have never understood. If you want to win in a sports game, and you start losing the advantage, are you just never going to get a bit annoyed or frustrated? It's literally just human nature guys, it's not that deep. People try to paint this as if he's insulting the other player's mother or something, when all he does is make small comments at most saying stuff like "Okay," or "Wow, alright then". He's not even angry, just a bit bothered. I feel like people who make these criticisms genuinely have only seen a few videos at most, if that. Plus, if his rush gets guessed but he also guessed the opponent's rush, he'll say, "okay, that's fair." Is that what a "toxic" creator would say? And for the last time guys, the BEST way (not arguable) to play DBL PVP is to play passive. Blaming Goresh for doing so is just silly and proves people don't watch his stuff before talking, because he has ALWAYS stated that he would prefer NOT to play passively, but that's what the game promotes. Being proactive in PVP is just asking for to PV'd and combo'd. It is what it is. Blame the company who makes it, not the creator playing as he should. And by the way, when he does play proactive, more often than not he gets fucked for it. Lastly, there seems to be this idea of "Raiyuden vs Goresh" but it really isn't that deep. If you prefer someone with a more positive personality, go for Raiyuden. If you like someone who is gonna give it to you straight and call out bad moves, be competitive, then go for Goresh. I'm glad both exist as they serve different audiences to a degree, which is great.
Yeah bro I agree I’ve been watching goresh and raiyuden since late 2019 when Zenkais was first introduced and both of them are great content creators, and it’s only a matter of what type of energy would you prefer. If you wanna see a chill average gamer play legends then you watch raiyuden but, if you wanna watch somebody that has everything maxed out and not too much hype commentary etc then you watch goresh there really isn’t much else to add other then that.
Idk if anyone mentioned him but Dfree was one of my favourites back in the days, hes pretty dam chill and actually pretty good at the game. He did stop playing during the rathan era but honestly I hav to put him in the peak tier since he started way back and was one of the ogs
i can't bear to watch gote more often than not cuz he constantly whines abt the same things in every vid😭 and it's even worse when something very explainable happens and he's like "there's no mathematical reason as to why that happened"💀
