You almost immediately pointed out my concern with this mod, the fact it takes ages to get anywhere.
RANDOM STORY! once, I found an ancient seed and planted it near a scarecrow, of course. a few days later, it rained. I thought nothing of it. the lightning would give me a battery pack, after all. guess what got struck by lightning? I hate this game sometimes

I'm 2/3 through the video idk if you realized but there's a super cool new area to go swimming that refills your energy 3x as fast as the spa just on the bottom of the farm down a little path I love it

Really glad they made that grandpa‘s old shed so hard to get because if they didn’t it would be crazy overpowered in the start. I mean you can grow star fruit year round above in its greenhouse and then make it into star fruit a iridium wine in the ground floor.

in the immersive farm, if you go down from the house and go the the right there is a big uncuttable tree and a water trough. That's where I go to fill my water since it is so much closer :)

Yep, real. It’s especially helpful if you have your bed upstairs with the second house upgrade because you can easily refill it every morning. It’s also nice for any plants you might have in garden pots.

Is Immersive Farm basically the same as the Grandpa's Farm mod SDVE recommends or would I need to get the SDVE farm to get the Big Boy

no it’s not! IFR2 is muuuuch bigger than grandpa’s farm. grandpa’s is much more manageable haha. but IFR2 is a remaster of someone else’s “immersive farm 2” map to work with sve ^^
