I'd never heard of Lovebites, but at the start of 2020 this video popped up in my CZcams recommendations. 6 minutes and 18 seconds later, I picked my jaw off the floor and was hooked forever.
I'm giving love to the bass player and the drummer. Me being a bass player and drummer I admit bias. Those girls are the backbone of the band. I bow to them. Great reaction. I'm not that much into metal but I love Babymetal and Lovebites.
Iron Maiden was my favourite band for the better part of my life (1980 to 2020), until now.
I first heard Lovebites early in 2020, and over the span of a year they've overtaken Maiden, and are now my favourite band, the best thing I've ever loved in rock/metal!!
This was the video that broke out for them on youtube. I remember some commenters insisting it couldn't be real, that the girls were just models faking it and guys were actually playing the instruments; everyone just being destroyed by the guitar duel; and a lot of people wondering if this was a one-trick pony. Now we know, they're for real, oh man, are they for real!
I can't get enough of Midori's ever-present smile. She loves what she's doing.
The composition of the solo in this song is just one of those things you shake your head at. Yeah they are technical and look great and have great guitar tones but not a note is wasted in their solos (or their songs for that matter) and that is simply what sets these girls apart. I mean, think about it, how do you create that solo section from a blank piece of paper??

You should react to Destrose. Haruna and Miho's old band and the starting point for Lovebites. Theres a couple MV from the in good quality plus the complete live set from One Man Live at Shibuya O West. I think you would really enjoy that.

Yep, 4 years ago to date, it was the first song I saw the MV and haven't looked back, So I did everything in my power to get wjat ep's and albums they had at that time and my collection is growing rapidly.

Just a point, Lovebites in japanese is ラブバイツ. The last part is "baitsu". You wrote "baito", it's sound like bait.
