Hadn't spent money on music in the last 3 years...until these ladies came along
I probably haven't bought any music in the last 10 years, then I found Babymetal, then Lovebites, now Nemophila. Now, I'm searching for stuff to buy.
Pro tip: you can watch movies on flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.

By the way, I really suggest reacting to the Japanese band “Asterism”; three teenagers that play instrumental heavy rock, and the female guitarist Hal-Ca is just a highly skilled beast.

My other favourite Japanese all-female Metal band. Tamu Murata (drums) gave birth not long after this performance. She's one Bad Mama-Jammer! Haraguchi-san on the bass is the smiliest you have ever seen. And Hazuki and Saki smile sweetly whilst crushing your chest with maximum riffage.
Mayu has a great scream, but she occasionally gets a little pitchy in her cleans. As her English improves, I'm sure her pronunciation will follow.

They are quickly becoming one of the top metal bands anywhere. I like their take on "the Gap": Aldious, Band-Maid, Lovebites and others go for an ultra-traditional feminine look while shredding your face. These girls dress more metal/punk, but then giggle and smile while shredding and screaming your face off. It's even weirder.

These girls are the real deal. In my opinion no one comes close to their level. From the writing, composition, structure and delivery, they are the cream of the crop. Can't say enough. They did a cover of Nickelback's Burn It To The Ground, which I think fits them perfectly... they literally burn it to the ground every time they start jamming. Blowing everyone away. What else is there to say that hasn't already been said. They even took a the Banana Song from Minions and turned it on it's head in the most fun, unique and clever way.
Yes they like having a laugh whilst destroying to world concept of heavy rock /metal/punk there a combination of all three
Re: your comment on Mayu the singer's Chucky t-shirt. It's an in-joke. Saki -the guitarist on the right with red hair & split skirt - her nickname is Chucky. When talking Japanese the other members of band usually refer to her as Chucky. Saki is also a big fan of horror films and'that's probably how she got the nickname.

I watched their live stream recently (my third) and it was amazing, not only they did few songs for free on YT, but then they did them again for us who paid and they were even better!
They started as a fun on-the-side project ... well, not anymore. They became so popular and one of the top bands worldwide. There is no going back and they know it. They even did a segment in English knowing how many of us are going nuts about them.
Mayu is such a great singer, perfect for this type of music. Her Chucky T-Shirt was actually a node to Saki whose nickname is also Chaki :) Saki is also one of my top 5 guitarist right after Miyako and Midori from Lovebites. Hazuki is also an amazing guitarist and in top 10 for sure.
The everlasting smiling duo of Tamu - drummer (she was 7-8 months pregnant here) and Haraguchi - bassist is just making their songs even more enjoyable.
Nemophila is with Lovebites (of course), Scandal, Band-Maid and BabyMetal top tier bands and my favourites since day one, which was this song and a cover of Iron Maiden - The Trooper.
Heck Nemophila did a cover of Nickleback, yes you read it properly, and it was frelling awesome!

Tamu was heavily pregnant here and had the baby not long after .While she was on maternity leave they did some covers of classic rock Japanese songs and had those bands original drummers in as gests for Tamu and put them in her signature T-shirt that's how tight these girls are .Oiran about a high class geisha girl is fantastic and hits hard at there live shows those twin guitar at the end of the solo is a sound i have never herd before its the same fingering but each plays it in a different key this gives it that brutal sound its harsh and next level and dates back to the pioneers of Judas priest and iron maiden Saki & Hazuki have brought it to another level .They have upgraded there rehearsal space by the looks of it now and Haraguchi might have a bass sponsor as she has a new red 5 string sadowsky bass . Saki is exclusively Killer and Hazuki's ESP 7 string custom made to her speck .If you haven't done Ritei that's there first MV very bass heavy and brutal ."Monsters" the latest one released is a bit different and has a studio mix with keyboards added put to concert footage its very Anime and there cover of Kurenie on YT and done at the on line gig is amazing (Hazuki is very good at drawing Anime see the vid on there page ) .Keep up the good work and you can't go wrong with these girls .

@@samirnietsch5531 I prefer the live version of fighters i recorded the last 4 songs from the live stream Sunday so i have that to watch whenever i want .I wouldn't be surprised to see a new MV for fighters soon .

@@robertturner8040 nah Saki once wrote in her IG story that she doesn’t really like it when people upload paid live material on yt. It doesn’t help them to grow. What they need is serious support. I’ll be buying a ticket for their next online concert as soon as they announce it when I finally have online banking

I can see you appreciate Mayu as much as I do. There are many very good, even world-class singers, guitarists, drummers, etc. But only very few individuals stand out higher. They are real geniuses. For me, Mayu on vocals is like Jimmi Hendrix on guitar. How she moves, how she uses her voice, what charisma ... it's all so natural.
Would you like to meet another Japanese female band? There are no musicians as good as Lovebites or a singer as great as Mayu, but I still find them very interesting.

Great review WindleEffect. When you get a chance please review the song MARIONETTE from the band MARY'S BLOOD. The guitar player Saki plays in both bands (Nemophila & Mary's Blood). This hard rock / metal band is reminds me of a cross-breed between Guns N Roses & Anthrax. Also, the guitar solo in this video is one of the best and most entertaining moments I've ever seen in any video that I have ever seen.
