That was so beautiful!!! The fluidity was wonderful and it just looked easy. The choreography was just amazing. It wasn't too busy that it overpowered the song. It complemented it beautifully. Just asdfghjkl 😍
I started taking ballet, jazz, and tap when I was seven then stopped at nine because I thought it was boring and I wasn't good enough. I'm thirteen now and really want to get back in it, but when I took another dance class, I was terrible. I really like contemporary and lyrical, but do I have to go back to the basics before I start doing those, because ballet just wasn't right for me. Is it too late to start over with dance to get good while I'm still young?
of coarse! I started dance at 9 and quite when I was 12 cuz I thought I sucked but I went back at 13 and the studio I went to sucked so at 14 I found this amazing studio and I practically had to start over and work really hard to catch up. You can do it just be very dedicated! Also You need to take ballet it was never my favorite till about 2 years ago but it has helped my strength, flexibility, and technique for my contemporary(:
Of course not! I did the exact same thing, except I started earlier, and it is pretty hard to get back into it, but I find that if it's something you really want and are willing to work for, there is never a limit. I've been back into it a few years, and im already very close to starting pointe. And I don't dance 24/7, it's all a matter of how hard you work.
I did ballet when I was about 3-5 (can't really remember). I quit after a year or two, but I want to start dance again. I want to do contemporary dance, so is ballet completely necessary? Can't you just learn the technique while you learn contemporary? I don't know much about dance but I am vey interested in it. If I should take ballet, for how long?

i just waana say thanks for saying that, because i started when i was 12 (13 now) and everyone that was my age has been doing it for like 10 yrs. and i am almost caught up. i am half way through my second year. (hey, when i started i didn't even know what a tondu was).. and so if it is truly a passion and you work hard, it is true you can do it!

umm, a few questions,.. how long have you been dancing? how old were you then and how old are you know? where do you take dance, and where is it??.. and Wow you are amazing you can tell that you do it for the enjoyment :) and you make the steps look SOOOOOO easy (like an aerial... when, well they Are Not.. and i cannot believe you choreographed this!!!!! amazing!
