My 3 favorites are Lightning Bolt, Ninja and Link. It's hard to decide which of them I liked more. So they are unsorted.
Also, I really would like to see you creating a level in this game with one or two of the new powerups.
That was fun! I wish that there were more power ups like that in official games, but then again don't we all?

like i said in a comment on a video of someone’s thunder/lightning/whatever you prefer mario imported into smw, that kind of powerup is so common for fans that it’s a wonder why nintendo themselves haven’t thought of something like it yet

FUN FACT: in mario land 2, if you button mash jump with Rabbit Mario, you won't lose altitude. This is because there is a roughly 0.2 - 0.5 second delay before you begin to descend, and hitting the jump button at just the right time resets this momentum cancelling, which makes the power-up very busted

Is there a greyscaled color version for the Super Mario Land 2? While also seeing the one I thought was Rock Mushroom, it seems odd that the SML2 had the brown-ish looking color instead of the typical grey.

lightning, acorn, and boulder mario. btw I don't know if N64 is retro enough for your channel. But on the off chance it is you should check out Book of Mario. Paper Mario run repeatedly through google translate then back to english. So all the dialogue (and menus) say nothing like what they originally said. It's a typical romhack patch file (I can't remember what n64 ones are called). it is hilarious and would be even moreso if you and Lair did your voices for the dialogue. Anyhow... great vid as always. Tell Lair we miss him. (4 months and counting :c )
