Algorithm Business: So a few videos ago I posted the sheriff posse challenge run and I got a lot of comments asking why I didn’t use the Law and Order to make the run even more on theme, which was a fair question I literally opened the video like (CLIP) while that little tease wasn’t on purpose, excluding the law and order was because I wanted to make a challenge out of the Law & Order on their own, so here we are today we ask, Can You Beat Borderlands 2 With Only The Law & Order? Before we start let's go over the rules, or Laws if you will. We will be playing on Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode Over Power 10, if you're new to the game and not sure what that is yet it just means that everyone has 4x health and health regen, and they’re all 10 levels higher than us. BAR will not be allowed for this run and of course, Law and Order are the only gun and shield I can use. Shooting the Law is allowed but we're going to mainly focus on the melee aspect of the combo cus uh, how do I put this, this thing sucks, even though it does more damage than the purple rarity nonunique version of itself the bullets are practically useless. So ill only be shooting to get activate Be Like Water for more melee damage, to kill any enemies I can not melee, or to get second winds if needed, spoiler alert the 3rd one only happened once. For the other gear slots ill have the Vault Hunter relic as a place holder, and The legendary Ninja class mod for obvious reasons. (zoom in on 69) This being a melee zero run you might assume ill be using the lightning bolt to strip my shield and get access to that juicy roid damage but common now, when do I ever use meta stats. So instead ill be using a slag grenade. Yep, you heard that right, ill be throwing a slag grenade at myself and also calling it strategy. Why a slag grenade you ask? Well, 2 reasons 1 masochism is a hell of a drug and 2 Zero’s Kunia are great for applying Deathmark but the slag chance is very inconsistent so when I'm using a grape cool aid jammer as a smoke bomb ill have another chance at making the bad guys purple. Here is a quick peek at my build, I am very confident that this was the best setup I could give myself skill wise but I'm probably still going to have people in the comment tell me I should have specd into money shot but whatever. Anyway let's hop into the run, we start our journey in liars berg because UVHM has you skip the whole claptrap optometrist appointment section of the game, and start clearing out tutorial town. It's been years since I've played melee zero so it took some time to get the setup down. The setup looks a little something like this. First, we activate deception and throw our kunai at the baddie who wants to attack, then we set up ourselves behind the target so we get the backstab damage boost, then we wait until the 2-second mark before throwing our grenade at ourselves and

Here’s a dumb idea: the ‘Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil’ challenge, aka the Three Monkey Challenge: three players, where one person is blinded (blind folded), one person is deaf (game sound effects set to 0, other players are muted), and the third person is mute (they can’t speak to the other players). And IDK you have to use some weird gun or something.
The Evil Smasher would be the gun.
They could all only use the Evil Smasher.

can confirm from personal experience that trying to melee kill wilhelm is one of the most infuriating battles in the game since he will NOT stop spamming his spinny move with the knockback of a thousand grenades, props to you for persevering
also fun fact: that pinky cloud effect that you see whenever you melee someone is exclusive to melee hits when using the law and order combo and cannot be seen anywhere else in the game :)

Does anyone ever tell you that your videos are greeeeeeat for anxious borderlands lovers? There's something so peaceful and relaxing about watching a funny, interesting and honestly super difficult run through a game I've played so many times. You know what's better than a Bonus Package only run? Doing it with Salvator's Double Your Fun skill. The challenge isn't killing the enemies, it's surviving how you did it.

Shotgun Zer0 is the most fun I've ever had in this game I highly recommend doing a run it's funny how the green tree can also be applied to shotguns the only perks that don't apply is critical ascensi0n and at one with the gun and maybe kill confirmed (but I did get some use out of it)

I hope you do a challenge with the Evil Smasher some time. It's super goofy and a pretty hilarious gun all things considered, plus it can't be that much worse than other weapons you've done challenge runs with before, specifically the elephant gun lol.

Here's a fun challenge:
Explain various things within your knowledge of a videogame in terms of another videogame.
For context, I was talking to my sister about how well the Rough Rider works on Melee Krieg, but she couldn't understand much of what I was saying because she doesn't play BL2 nearly as much as I do.
She suggested I explain this in Pokémon terms, so I described Melee Krieg as a Ferrothorn (a very tanky Grass/Steel-type Pokemon) who gains a lot of buffs from taking damage, including Attack boosts (Salt in the Wound, Empty the Rage), charging up a special meter (Fuel the Rampage), and most importantly, Release the Beast, which when he's low on HP lets him Mega-evolve for 5 turns, restoring to full HP and gaining ridiculously large Attack, Defense, and Special Defense boosts.
This then transitioned to me explaining UVHM in Pokémon terms
"Imagine you're doing a Pokémon playthrough, but your opponents' Pokémon all have way higher stats than yours (4x Health, 2x damage), and most of them have Leftovers (Health regen), but your own Pokémon seem to 'tough it out so you won't feel sad,' as the game puts it, far more often than they usually would (Health gate) and Super-effective moves deal Triple damage instead of Double (Super-effective elemental hits deal more damage, and Slag is far more powerful as well)
I also described the old Bee + Conference Call combo as an exaggerated Archeops (an avian dinosaur Pokémon), where its ability Defeatist triggers as soon as it loses any HP at all, but before it triggers, the Archeops's damage output is ridiculous.
"Combine that with the Conference Call, which is essentially a Skill Link-boosted Rock Blast, and the damage bonus before Defeatist adds a set about to each hit, and it's extreme enough that this thing can destroy Eternamax Eternatus (Pokémon's equivalent of the BL2 Raid bosses) in a turn or two

Hello there! I quite enjoy watching your challenge runs, and recently I learned it is possible to play borderlands 2 with more than 4 people on the PC version of the game. (I can link the reddit post I found about it on if you want.) And i thought to myself, what if you did a challenge run with 6 people total, and everyone plays a different class. UVHM, OP 10, sounds like it could be fun.
Sadly that mod no longer works, after the switch to shift multiplayer nobody has found a way to do it. 😕
