Dan Bracket: Sorry I thought this was an interrogation, I went by the optics and demeanor of the center character. Can corrupt be switched for guilty? In any event I'm no legal scholar, I know now it was a deposition.
Its like watching your parents trying to tell you off and they start arguing among themselves and forgot why their telling you off.
Well ... Blueprint did end up receiving discovery sanctions so I'm not sure how they felt about paying extra for Kouri's grandstanding.

What!!!!! He is the defence lawyer you want. He is amazing
@@robertmarks2379he lost the case and he was sanctioned.

When there's no judge present, lawyers will brawl.

Anyone who has ever sat through a deposition knows how unbearable it is.

There is nothing funny about it. The questions are going to get asked at some point. Arguing and fighting like that is not going to avoid this.
The witness has the right to refuse to answer and the lawyer can inform them of this. The lawyer trying to direct the client is not going to look good and it could also bring the the lawyer into the case as an actual witness or even as a subject.
It could end up being used as evidence of intimidation.
