    Boshek. Early in the games journey he was a great ability 4 pilot with immunity to attrition

    Ghoel is great! It's perfect for defending the Cantina, or any other interior site, like Cloud City: Lower Corridor.

    I am here for this!! My underrated card is regular, generic jedi lightsaber. Why it's never used in serious decks blows my mind

    • @xrideforthebrandx
      @xrideforthebrandx Před 2 lety +1

      It costs way too much and doesn't reduce forfeit after a hit. I fit it into a few decks, but generally not worth it.

    Love the video! Over Thanksgiving break I've gone totally down the rabbit hole of SWCCG - bringing back all the memories from middle and high school! Taught myself to play by watching CZcams videos and learning to use GEMP. Next step: rebuilding my physical collection! (which I got rid of when I moved abroad after college).

    Looking forward to the series!
    Some picks for me:
    Harc Seff - Nice little supporting character with a built in It Could Be Worse.
    Orrimaarko - They literally printed a main character card and stuck it into this guy's template. 4 power and 4 ability with immunity to attrition and a direct damage component.
    Danz Borin - The place OOP ability was pretty sweet in LS mains-dominated metas, where knocking out Obi-Wan or Luke was a big deal because there were two other copies waiting to come right back down.
    Umpass-Stay - If you ever tried Court Musician beats, he was the man.
    Sergeant Wallen - Dropping a free dude to join your battle comes in handy almost every time.

    LS:
    ARCONA! The sneaky sneaky alien from ANH. Able to react from battles. Situationally very powerful.
    Harc Seff: 3 destiny, 2/2/3 armor, he's a built in It could be worse at adjacent sites.
    Taun-Tauns: 4 destiny, move as a react from a battle (like ARCONA). 1 deploy. Hoth restriction, but can be deployed to docking Bay and transfered.
    DS:
    Chief Retwin: 2/2, pay three force to hide from a battle. Aka block force drain and can't have his undercover blown or R3POd.
    J'Quille: 4 power and can exclude a character ability under 3 from battle. Can be very strong situationally

    • @JigglyPKMN
      @JigglyPKMN Před 2 lety

      Definitely agree on J’Quille. He’s an amazing counter to Chewbacca and a spy as well. When people say Jabba’s Palace was a bad set, I always think “but J’Quille!”

    I love SWCCG so I love this video. Looking forward to more!
    5) I agree with 2-1B being very underrated. Great card!
    4) Thanks for pointing out Ghoel, that's a cool ability I never payed attention to.
    3) Jar Jar is Episode 1, so he can jog on.
    2) In P-DSII and P-RefII, Ben Kenobi is absolutely a staple in every Profit or Harvest deck. Outside of P-ANH, it is used much much more than the Premier Obi-Wan Kenobi. Hard disagree that this one is underrated. Great card though!
    1) R-3PO definitely comes in handy. I was playing ISB one time and R-3PO definitely made my life difficult.
    5) Lieutenant Arnet does the same thing as Nemet but is a better card overall
    4) I've only played Kitik Keed'kak in P-ANH and immediately lost him because his mom is in every LS deck. I could see him being kind of useful in a Scum or Court deck, but mostly think it is a bad card.
    3) Blendin? Super niche, but definitely fun.
    2) Barquin D'an is underrated! Love him!
    1) I very much agree with you that this Vader is SOO underrated. He is definitely better than DVDLOTS, Lord Vader's defense value and immunity to Uncontrollable Fury makes him adequately rated though.

      hahah How dare you insult JAR JAR
      Im realizing this now that Ben is used in a lot of decks, I just hadn't seen him much (maybe that reflects the caliber of people I play against :D)

      Kal'Falnl C'ndros isn't Kitik Keed'kak's mother, she's an avian monotreme (i.e. mammal that lays eggs), and KKK is an insectoid that eats eggs (i.e. a predator that eats KFC's offspring).

    This was fun to watch!
    Some more underrated cards that I love using, but don’t see others use often:
    1) Leesub Sirln - that guy can cause a bunch or force loss over the course of a game and is super fun when you “hit” with it.
    2) Bossk With Mortar Gun! Such a great feeling when all those “1”s in your deck actually help capture you a main
    3) Sando Aqua Monster - set up bossk with gun, or if you don’t know your next destiny, use it to see what it is and mulligan if needed!
    4) Mantellian Savrip - every time this comes out, it makes a huge impact on the game. Yet I very rarely see it!
    So many more too. Best thing about this game is the variety and random stuff people come up!

    • @fatty777
      @fatty777  Před 2 lety

      Thanks for the comment, wow great list! Leesub Sirln for sure- not familiar with Aqua monster, reading it now, can see how it could have lots of uses

      Savrip for the win!

    • @MSUTri
      @MSUTri Před 5 měsíci

      Leesub Sirln is a she, not a he! That's important for M'iiyoom Onith scans.
      Mantellian Savrip doesn't get much play beyond Jabba's Palace, because Masterful Move cancels it, and that is an extremely common card for dark side.

    Princess Organa is one of the most underrated main characters. Having a Liea that can pull reflection from reserve deck is clutch. Retrieving force is unmatchable and I have used for her in so many decks. This version of Liea is just almost never played but should be all the time. Thanks for the SWCCG vid, plz keep them up.

    I don't think there's any better picks than those 🎯. A few honorable mentions; Brangus Glee is amazingly versatile. Salacious Crumb is surprisingly clutch endgame. Nizuc Bek.....um, just kidding he's absolutely terrible 😂 we called him 'milkshake man' back in the day

    This was actually really entertaining and earned a sub from me. I agree with a lot on these lists. Idk if he’s underrated but I love Bane Malar and his mindscan ability for DS. This might sound silly but I like a couple rebel guards in my LS decks to match with an ability 3 character. It just makes the DS second guess attacking sometimes. May not be underrated in the meta but in my original card friend group it is. Thanks for making this video!

    • @fatty777

      I would call Bane Malar underrated for sure, only thing that isn't good is he can't mind scan permanent weapons.. too bad else he would be a great counter to those cheesy cards

    • @thomasminter
      @thomasminter Před 2 lety

      Yes, the Hoth R-3P0 card was misprinted with the K-3P0 image; the image on both cards in the Hoth set was identical, i.e. the K-3P0 image.

  • @JavaJunky
    @JavaJunky Před 2 lety

    Basically, any character that can 'save' another character (to used pile), is great game text, instead of needing an interrupt or effect to do the same thing. Integral in retrieval decks.
    Most underrated card ... gotta go with Jar Jar. He is a non-spy that can deploy nearly anywhere. He is mostly unstoppable.

  • @NephAF

    I agree with Ben Kenobi, seems like a super powerful character that doesn't get any play. My nomination would be Rachalt Hyst from Tatooine. Very flexible. Can pilot, adds to drain with a weapon and if you keep some force around can get some of those high destiny interrupts out of the opponents deck.
