Explaining more.. the DS2 rare sheet is 11x11 with 3 of each rare, 2 ultra rares
While the Premiere rare sheet is 12x13 with four of each R2, and 2 of each R1, making it slightly more likely to pull a ultra rare from a 1 ds2 pack then a specific R1 From premiere
I pulled Executor Christmas morning from packs in my stocking. A memory I’ll never forget and now getting back into the game. Love it!

The Accuser. Single biggest contribution to my happiness in the game.
Step 1: Deploy a turn 2 TIE Fighter. Alone.
Step 2: Save exactly 5 force.
Step 3: End your turn, look at your hand full of garbage, and just smile.
The enthusiasm in this video is amazing.
Always liked Accuser the most due to its cheap deployment. My ships always died anyways so it was comforting that I spent so little on it.
Very heartwarming to see us all as middle aged men and still getting giddy over this beautiful game.

The Tyrant is probably my favorite. Really fun in the tractor beam deck I put together a while back! Also, with the Visage, it was super good against hidden base, so you could scan any planet immediately.

always liked Judicator's text. nothing really tops opening a Executor back in 1998 when Scrye hadn't provided a picture yet and the internet barely had visible scans. pulling that card had that jaw-dropping moment when you see the horizontal card for the first time, and power 12. as a kid, the deploy cost wouldn't phase you
Executor being pronounced two ways at a tournament was always a hoot.
I never played in a Tournament so it wasn't until a few months ago I realised people had different pronunciations for it.
I wonder if the LucasArts people just thought "Executioner" was too long and just didn't realise what issues shortening it would cause? Haha
Nice video. They Must Never Again Leave This City + free Dagobah Executor is king. I seem to recall that the ones with 1 ability were often considered unplayable.
The only star destroyers my cousin and I pulled were the Thunderflare and the uncommon ones. At 10 years old, we loved the uncommons just as much as the uniques though lol.

Cool video topic though you didn't do the non-unique basic Imperial class! Thunderflare is my top. I do think the forfeit bonus to ties from Vengeance makes for interesting deckbuilding.
OG Executor is my favorite, mostly due to the picture/layout

The first time someone put down the Executor during a game I think I fell over in my chair in fear lol. My DS deck is full of star destroyers. My favorite is Chimaera (for look) and Thunderflare (for text). Im going to have to look at Accuser and Judicator after this though!
I love that Devastator's lore mentions the DEVASTATING subjugation of Raltiir. I wish they kept that up.

Frankly speaking all of them are super cool and useful of course depends on individual's deck and preferences. Considering the image alone Stalker and both Executors are amazingly awesome 😄
Tyrant is the best. Pulled that foily boy in a Reflections pack as my first Star destroyer. It’s my fave forever cause of that

An interesting thing about the Devastator and the Conquest pictures - they are Imperial-class II on cards, but in the movie, they are Imperial I - it looks like Decipher never minds about it.

I completely agree on your opinion of Stalker its one of my favorites with its image but I don't believe i have ever used it in a deck as there are enough better alternatives
I think the OG Devastator was the best. Stats are just the perfect combination. Thankfully they didn't release some busted Star Destroyer that power creeped it out in Reflections III. The coolest is Chimaera with Thrawn in command.
Non-unique Victory Classes are good at 6 deploy.
Executor got better because of Commander Mejerek who can pull Fondor (and Piett pulls him, and Imperial Command pulls him).
Non- unique Death Squadron Star Destroyers from Special Edition can be good too, immunity to attrition
agree, and that attrition immunity is huge

Dagobah Executor is definitely my favorite, but 15 deploy is insane without the very reasonable reflections card that deploys it for free

I dont remember the first time i got a unique sd. Probably one of the ds2 ones. I think i bought most as singles later on.
Always so expensive. TIEs and matching pilots for my TTO deck all day.
I love all destroyers. I collect them specifically.
I remember being pretty bummed when seeing the Scrye price guide and not seeing any new Vader for Dagobah, but then immediately forgetting all of that when I pulled an Executor from a pack and the amazement of it being horizontal!

Nothing beats the feeling of pulling Executor out of a Dagobah pack.
I agree that the 5 deploy cost for a star destroyer has the best dollar for dollar value and is beneficial in just about any situation
So many great ones, but my personal favorite is Avenger, because it was my first one that I ever pulled. :)
Cool series. Have you also considered reviewing the Virtualized versions of the Star Destroyers or are you potentially saving that for future videos? I have to agree with the other posts, Executor to this day is still my favorite. I remember opening one in 1998 like others and being super excited about it.
Love me some Executor. Pulled 2 of them back in the day, chasing Boba Fett & Slave I (which I didn't realize at the time wasn't in the set, but you better believe I got them both in Cloud City :D ) I always used Tyrant + tractor beam mixed with a bunch of bounty hunters in my Captive deck. Keep it up!

Im going to disagree on one little thing ... Ive actually always preferred the Flagship Executor image to the original. I just love that angle. This is a fun video, first of yours I've watched but I'm going to check out the old ones too! :)

Also, never underestimate cheap Victory Star Destroyers piloted by Imperial Helmsman.

Stalker was pretty good in a probe droid deck with Piett. Get those two out and just flood the board with probes and their lasers lol. And probe droids could force drain.
I remember that working back in the day.. just on gemp seems like P-H or P-SE or P-DS2 nothing works except very formulaic mains/toys/same interrupts

Dominator is the only one with an actual useful ability, the rest are pretty meh, or too expensive (Executor) so I tend to rank them based on image only.
