What to Expect from the Next Nintendo Direct

- It’s now September, otherwise known as Nintendo Direct time. I haven’t been this excited since i was at the queens coronation. I released a similar video a few months ago, but the direct didn’t happen :(.
Regardless, June is notoriously ‘game announcement time’ which means you can expect one with near-certainty, but what will be announced?
We can never know for sure, but there are some potential games that we can expect, along with some non-game announcements:
Donkey Kong, what happened to him? He was doing so well with a triumphant return to popularity since Country Returns, but we haven’t seen a new game since tropical freeze... EIGHT YEARS AGO. There have been rumours ramping up about a new game, with it potentially being a 3d platformer too. I think now would be a great time to announce it, as its been SO DAMN LONG.
Another game to expect is a new mainline Mario game. There hasn’t been a truly new one since Odyssey, so i reckon an announcement is definitely due. What will it be? Well, the easy answer is odyssey 2, however Nintendo has been experimenting with a new type of open world for mario, as seen with bowsers fury. Or maybe, its something a bit more casual and multiplayer-focused, such as a new 2d mario or a sequel to 3d world. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Rumours have been surfacing around a remaster to Metroid prime 1. Not the trilogy, just one for now. This one is interesting, as it has reportedly been in development for a while now, and its hard to distinguish it between a remake and a remaster. Either way, I’m excited to see this if it turns out to be true.
Each year, there is always a Zelda game. Last year was skyward sword HD, the year before was age of calamity and before that a was links awakening etc etc. What about this year? Recently it was announced that breath of the wild 2 will be delayed to spring 2023, so what can fill the gap? Another remaster of course! People believe that it will be a wind waker/twighlight princess HD bundle. I have a few problems with this. First of all, how come skyward sword was sold on its own for full price if you can get a bundle of two games for the same price? Also mario 3d all stars came with 3, but those weren’t as remastered as windwaker and twighlight princess HD, so ill let it slide. Anyway, whatever zelda game we do get this year, id expect it to be release around October november time.
I know a lot of channels like to focus on the brand new leaks and unannounced games, but that’s not all there is to a Direct. For example, there are a few games coming out soon which we need more details on, such as:
Bayonetta 3!
This games is right around the corner and it would be a stupid Nintendo move if they didn’t release a new trailer
Pokémon! I’m not really into this franchise but I know a lot of others are and I bet they wanna hear more about the games
And also Mario and rabbids: sparks of hope! It’s about time we heard more about this, I mean, it’s coming out in October so…
What about non-game announcements? Nintendo recently filed new company copyrights for the upcoming mario movie. Names such as ‘Nintendo studio’ and ‘M brother productions’ have popped up. This may mean a trailer is imminent. This especially makes sense considering the film is less than a year away. They might want to begin their marketing campaign soon. I’m very intrigued to see how its gonna work, with Chris Pratt voicing Mario and whatnot.
And finally, switch online. This is a stretch, but Nintendo’s been putting a lot of money into their online infrastructure. Maybe we see them announce something like gameboy games? Although i feel like they might save those for later, maybe they announce something new and different? Since the switch online app was put on the switch Home Screen, they’ve slowly been doing more and more with it, like using platinum points to get profile picture rewards. I’d love to see more ways to earn platinum points, like getting them from achievements in games.
Bare in mind this is all speculation, and try not to let your expectations ruin the joy of the direct.

Reason why Skyward Sword got the full price treatment is most likely because it's the only major 3D Zelda title that had not gotten a remake or remaster already. Wind Waker and TP both got HD remasters on the Wii U, so releasing them both at full price for the Switch would be a bit wack. I think that's why some are expecting a double pack where you get both for 60.
Sounds good to me, and probably not a third game like 3D all stars as Nintendo knows that either way there will be high demand, so they won’t need an extra

I feel like there is no switch pro, totk is gonna release on switch first and Pikmin 4 and new games(like Galaxy returns and new super Mario bros) announce on spring will be exclusive to new syste,. They may dump more port to switch like a wind waker hd(separating), twilight princess hd, Mario Galaxy 2 and a limited release triforce collection that have wind waker, twilight princess and skyward. Pure FOMO is too risky, so they may use discount of game in a collection way instead of game locking.

I'm willing to bet that we get a possible release date for breath of the wild 2 Twilight princess and wind waker as separate releases maybe a F-ZERO GX remaster Metroid prime remake a kid Icarus uprising remake and Skyrim anniversary edition for switch since it's been seen on 3 different listing

@@EndoCZcams I've been a fan of Nintendo and following their work since I was little for 26 years I may not be a CZcamsr or speculative leaker but I majority of the time I make my educated guesses when it comes to predicting Nintendo I've been right most of the time the only thing I've been wrong about recently was Zelda's 35th anniversary but I think everyone was wrong about that
Nice! As we all know Nintendo can be unpredictable sometimes, but I wouldn’t be surprised if most of your predictions turned out to be true in the next direct
@@EndoCZcams I amaze myself sometimes how predictable Nintendo is to me from doing my own research and based off their own history makes them predictable some things I still get wrong from Time to time I'm willing to bet this months direct happens sometime this week or next week hell for all we know it could be at the end of the month
