I actually seen this episode in 1982 when it debut Mr.Idol.I was 16 at the time in a little town in NC..White Lake..Solid Gold came on wway tv 3 every Saturday at 7 pm.
Generation X were so much better than anything idol ever did in his solo career!! But i do understand wanting the fame and money in america .but remember being a 16 year old in london in 77 and going to all the generation x shows and hanging out with billy and tony after the shows,best of times back then.billy was always fan friendly and cool with everyone.
Guys like Billy Idol exist so the rest of us can dream of being just like them.....
