Precipitation data from Earth Engine, daily and monthly

Precipitation time series from Google Earth Engine for a specific region.
- Daily script, showing daily average mm/day, averaged over a region: code.earthengine.google.com/c...
- Monthly script, showing monthly average mm/day, averaged over a region: code.earthengine.google.com/1...
We demonstrate, using one's own shapefile, how to add the shapefile as an asset, import the asset into the script, rename the script to "region", and run the script to get the precipitation time series for this new region.
Any shapefile can be used, whether a country, basin, or giraffe-shaped section of the Earth. The following link holds shapefiles for many countries:

Thanks a lot for your nice explanations, the problem I have is that I can not understand how I can opt for specific dates in the time series in the case of daily precipitation. For example, I want to have the data for the past three years so I want to start from 2020 to 2024 how can I modify the code to give me my desired output.

please include making a shapefile for individual country, the interface of arc gis is not user friendly for it
