SOBERING REALITIES OF WILDERNESS LIVING | LIFE AT -40

The realities of living in the frozen Canadian Wilderness are working hard to break my spirits.
Perhaps I was just having a bad day, but the unrelenting cold is beginning to wear me down. Broken Camera equipment, a solar system that's not liking the plunging temperatures, chainsaw issues, generator issues...all part of the daily struggle when the mercury plummets below -30 degrees celsius.
Splitting wood and sitting by the wood stove is good cure for the winter blues. Overall, this experience is amazing. Tomorrow is a new day!
