I can confirm this ceratech worked for my engine! Only bad think is once i changed my oil and doesnt filled ceratech, valve lifters started noising again. Today i filled ceratech and this sounds gone away again. Amazing tech from liqui moly :)
I would be more impressed if you started car so we could hear ticking noise and then after additive ticking noise was gone. You are just advertising a product.
My 2013 glk 350 already has worn lifters I can hear them on top of the head might try the additive if not I am just going to replace them ain’t that hard really just time consuming but hydraulic lifters tend to make noise my Audi is the same and has been running for over 20 years with 600whp still hasn’t blown . 😊

Are you using the Ceratec with the molygen oil? If so how does that mix work for you? I had asked a Liqui Moly rep about this and the rep told me that I shouldn't use Ceratec with the molyen oil.

Hi guys, do you recommend to use liqui moly hydraulic lifter additive as well as ceratec? I have 03' w211 270 cdi 5-cylinder with almost 500k kilometers on clock. Engine is strong, it does not leak oil and it does not smoke, only problem is the noise from the lifters, it is very noticeable especially when cold or when driven over 1500rpm. Also what oil type do you recommend? I have seen everything recommended from 0-30, 5-30, 0-40 and 5-40. Now I'm not sure which to use considering the miles on the engine and probability of warn parts and looser tolerance. You guys rock :) Subbed
Mine is the opposite. It has a ticking noise at idle and goes away above a 1000 rpm.

When you flush, isnt there some flush left in the engine after, and wont that thin your new oil and additive?
you add the flush on a hot engine and let the car idle for 15 to 20 mins to let is circulate and clean the debree, then you change your oil for the new one and change your oil filter with the new one (old one will have all kind of nasty things in there from the flush), add ceratec and new oil and you're good to go :)

I 'm Seriously dobtfull Having dismantled the Lifters I realised that the things suffer from clogged check valves. The oil that they live in does NOT ever get replenished it just sits there and degrades How can an Engine flush (however good it may be) even REACH those check valves as they are at the bottom of a well with Only one pressure channel..No way for old oil to either be flushed through or even to get there.
I have everything can't stop after 5 minutes it stops but driving me mad The ticking please help. How can I stop? Thi've been quoted 750 pounds to get it fixed in the garage. Hasn't got any worse but tried most things or maybe i'm doing it wrong Tickiing dose stop after five minutes

Mercedes Benz say DO NOT use additives. What’s up with this guy! I have a 2002 (21 year old c240) and never used additives and the car run quite well, however I think 🤔 I hear valves ticking on starting the engine. I trying to resolve that issue.
