This would be more interesting if they were given the recipe in grams, and then weighed their ingredients on a scale facing the camera so we could see how far off they were (but they obviously can't see the measurement)

That's the reflex they all have. You don't have to stick to the right quantity as long as the proportion are mostly balanced.
The lesson here is : don't ever eyeball a thing while baking.

Sohla’s show needs to be called “This Takes Longer Than You Think.” She’s used this line twice, once with eggs and then in this video with dry ingredients. Her show can be about savoring the cooking process and not rushing. Please please give her a show, Bon Appétit.

“Pro Chefs Do What Grandmas Everywhere Do Everyday”
Like one of them said, you can do that once you've done the recipe a million times, so you have a good feel on how much stuff there is and what it should look and feel like, but none of them had done it before.
Or people who don’t want to do the dishes so they use as little utensils as possible aka me.

I literally don't own any kitchen measuring devices. I eyeball everything. Been cooking by "feel" for decades. Of course as a teen, I followed recipes; but once you get the hang of it, it's nothing. Cooking is easy.

She's paid more than enough commensurate with her job title. The job title she specifically applied for. The pay she negotiated in her contract (which is higher than average for the starting position she holds). She has literally no cause for complaint and should be grateful she has any job at all in this economy.
Once she learns how many hours are in a day, and learns how to melt butter, and has been working at BA for as many years as the people she's comparing herself to, maybe she'll be able to command a higher salary. Until then, she's a nobody with only 10 months at the company and doesn't deserve more money just because of her skin color. If she's unhappy, she should have applied for a better job, but she couldn't have gotten a better job because she doesn't have the resume.
