I can propose an alternative perspective: a skyscraper is defined as a building with more than 10 stories. However, if a threshold is populated, they increase the threshold and it becomes more unattainable, potentially discrediting those who are already there. For instance, if the world had fewer tall buildings and shorter heights, the narrative might shift to consider any building with 5 stories and above as a skyscraper."Don't always swallow a white man narrative who puts them in charge of setting standards.
They can still build them tall but with swahili/Arabic architecture
No to Arabic architecture. Modernity must come to reflect the current vibrancy and dynamism of the existing population. Old town is there for the Swahili architecture.

@@user-nv9ju4vh6z Mombasa is no longer a small Swahili fishing harbour. It's a multi ethnic cosmopolis. Modernity is inevitable. Such changes are seen in London, Frankfurt, Paris etc. Only a small section of the city like old town should retain the preserve.
