Great ending to the playthrough, so memorable. Loved the wee cheeky look over at the sawmill, all dark and scary, before riding on. Let's gooo.
I couldn't resist it Darryl, I just had to take a look over at what is potentially going to royally f$%k me over later on in the playthrough, lol. Plus, like you said, it's a night time shot, so was well worth briefly stopping for, to show a menacing area, looking even more menacing, lol.

LMAO, you think that directional mistake was bad, just wait till this playthrough plays out, lol. And the Lisa story still plays on my heart strings every time I play this game. Good job I don't have to protect her like Boozer at the dam !!!, oh dear, I've said too much, shut it Boris. lol. I really love that yourself and a few others noticed the intentional stop and focus of the Sawmill. Given what that place represents in this difficult playthrough, I just had to do it, and it looked straight up scary when looking at it at night, lol.

Another great video, I’m so happy to be along for the ride! And yes. The song. I love that song. My first playthrough I literally had tears streaming down my face during that whole journey. The dialogue between Deacon and Boozer, the song lyrics, and the meaning and weight behind it. I really thought Boozer was a dead man walking. And he very nearly was. That’s when I knew that this game was special and I’ve been hooked ever since. But on a lighter note, I had a few chuckles in the video too. “Wrong way Deek” 😂And like others have been saying, the stop and glance at the sawmill at the end was a cool touch, it actually gave me shivers, because we all know what’s coming! Haha. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
I could never leave out that song Violet. The journey to Lost Lake with the dialogue and that song, are one of the most memorable game moments of my life, and I don't ever want to deprive anyone from seeing all that the way it's supposed to be seen & heard. And yes, I couldn't resist stopping the bike to get a shot of the Sawmill at night. Everyone who knows this game, knows the significance of this place, lol. Dear Borislav, after some time passes since my latest playthrough, I always bump into a notification for a video of yours, and it immediately makes me want to start a new playthrough! So here I go again, I think I have to hop back on the bike and ride to the next adventure in the scary post-apocalyptic Oregon. Not on extreme though! 😁

@@Anastaciastaceybob Nah, I play on easy or normal always. :) To me that's challenging enough. I love the atmosphere, I enjoy just exploring and absorbing all the amazing details. This game is a masterpiece in providing atmospheric immersion due to it's breathtaking attention to details.

It's an amazing song Anastacia. I play it every night when I'm travelling to and from my work. And I love that a few people like yourself have noticed the purposeful stop to look at the Sawmill. I won't give away any spoilers as to how that battle goes, but I will say this ASB, I leave this horde till the mission comes up where I have to take them out, just so that I have every advantage unlocked to give me the best chance of success.

It did demonetize the video JB, but I don't care, as I would never show this part of the game without that amazing song. Just makes the trip unforgettable, and everyone deserves to see it like this.

Very kind of you MJ, and I suspect Rex will just pick out the hardest missions (as this guy's seriously busy, he won't have time to watch them all, lol) that he knows will give me the most trouble, to see how I get past them, lol.

I've actually just done the belknap caves rescue mission, it's one of my favourites. I usually pre-place a remote bomb in the tower at the end for the sniper (if i remember) obviously you can't in this playthrough. I'd find this kind of restrictive playthrough far too frustrating 🤣
I'm currently playing on a PC with the growler minigun mod... shitloads of fun!

Deacon must be ridden with guilt by sending Lisa to Tucker which led up to her being cut up by the Rippers, together with what happened to Boozer which was in a way his fault as well and he has to live with that too. Damn Tucker initially I thought she would treat Lisa good as they were neighbors and god were we so wrong
I feel the same. Honestly thought because Tucker knew Lisa that she would be easy on her, but holy s£$t, not a chance. Deek builds up a lot of guilt in this game.

Really loved this episode story wise. Only a heartless person ( like Tucker ) wouldn't feel something for Lisa. If it wasn't for bad luck , Lisa wouldn't have any luck at all. Glad to see more of Boozer as well. I will tell you in advance that there is an upcoming scene with Boozer that I'll have to skip past. Even though it is only a game , I'm a wuss when it comes to gore lol. Things have gotten really interesting and I am so looking forward to your next video. Cheers Boris !
Yep, I know the scene that you mean. For me it is the dog scene in Rogue Camp much later in the game. Heartbreaking.

One of the hardest cut scenes in the entire game to watch for me when they are in Rogue Camp. Another one when Skizzo & Deek are heading into Iron Butte also get's me, and I struggle to watch it.

The story is really going along nicely at the moment FM, and of course, with Lost Lake comes a lot of tough missions, lol. There's no shame in the scene you are talking about my friend. It's a tough watch to the most hardened of us, let alone anyone who doesn't like gore. As always, appreciate you watching my friend, thank you.
Great video as always. I remember when I first watched the flashback for the Lavender thinking, now that's an oddly specific question to ask about WMD's, I was totally suspicious after that of Sarah's involvement in the creation of the virus that turned people into Freakers. I did think she was lying to Deacon, though, rather than being used.

Hello, my friend! FYI, you always forget to get that last plant when you are at the safehouse. Where you normally get the "last" plant next to the shed, just go around to the other side of the shed for another collectible plant.
Also, I just finished the mission where you fight Carlos, and you have to fight the breaker outside the building. How in the world are you going to fight that thing with your meager loadout?! I found it very tough with all my usual weapons. Can't wait for it!!!
DAMN, and thank you TC. 10 playthrough's in and I didn't realise about that last plant, lol. And the breaker outside the club house at Carlos's residence, oh boy, I'll say nothing else my friend. Just wait till THAT one comes up.
A tip 4 map b screen shot sections of all the map areas and leave it up on ur laptop which area ur in you won't get lost again then haha

I do dearly love this game, but my second play-through stalled a little way in. It was basically NG+ so I could play the early game again but with all the cool toys, just to see how it felt. I love the game play, but repeating all the story stuff, cut-scenes and such became a bit tiresome after a bit. I may return to the game in a few months when I've had a break, though.
I totally get what you're saying here mate. I absolutely love this game, but, some of the cut scenes that can't be skipped are annoying as f&*k, especially the walk to the waterfall with Sarah.
For me I actually got a little more appreciation of the story on the second time around. Maybe because I turned the subtitles on for it, which I usually don’t do. I picked up on a lot of stuff that I missed the 1st time. I didn’t realize Rikki and the doctor were a thing, I thought she was hot for Deek lol!

Had to be done MSW, as the trip to Lost Lake is one of the most iconic parts of the entire game with this amazing song which compliments the mood perfectly, and I wanted everyone to see & hear this.

I'm really interested to see how you'll deal with the high speed Wolfs from the Militia side of the map... They come in 3 and they are difficult enough with a SMP9...
Also, have you ever tried getting to lost lake by the beginning of the game? Every playthrough I keep asking myself that question but by them it's too late
Oh the RUNNERS, they are a problem, but there are ways to deal with them. I do start to get the better of them eventually, but a lot of frustration and swearing comes from those bad boys on this playthrough. God I miss the SMP9, lol.
By the way; do you have any tips or so about how to get the rock chuck as early as possible?
This is an easy and quick one to answer mate. Unless you are playing a NG+ playthrough, you simply can't get the Rock Chuck early. It's unlocked very near the end of the game.
