Hi folks, here is part 17 of my EXTREME PLAYTHROUGH of Days Gone. I hope you all enjoy the video. - Hry
I only noticed this while watching rather than playing. After you do a few runs for each camp, they call you by your name when you reach the gates and not refer to you as a drifter. Shows your respect level climbing. Another subtle detail :)

The merchants and people around the camp act different, depending on your trust level.
That's very well picked up John. Just shows what an amazing job Bend Studio have done with this game. Some of the subtle details they include are fantastic.

Does it make me a terrible person that I laughed my head off when Boris rode right into that road sign when the runner was chasing him?
I must be a terrible person too because I did the same thing 😂 Most signs fall over when you ride into them but that one was like riding into a brick wall 😂 Oh man, poor Boris 😆
Nope, you just have a good sense of humour my friend. If I was watching someone else do this, I'd be laughing too.
I know you are most always trying and succeeding at putting on a good showing, but some of the most entertaining moments are when things go wrong. The bit with the runner chasing about 46 minutes into the video was hilarious.
My friend, I couldn't agree more. Some of the best Days Gone videos I have watched on CZcams, are when things go completely FUBAR.
something fun to keep in mind -- residue bolts work on wolves too. it's a relatively rare occasion where you'll be able to do it, but if you ever get mobbed by 3 or more wolves, getting a residue bolt into one of them will help kick off some chaos :)
I'm pretty sure I employ them on Runners eventually in this playthrough, but I appreciate the info XDnb, thank you.
Well that was an interesting run. Those wolves were quite a problem. Never a dull moment in Days Gone, right Boris my friend... Got to always stay vigilant, that is exacly why I love replaying this game.

that alarm clock you found on the belknap side of the tunnel near cope's place will respawn relatively quickly, especially if you're bouncing between lost lake and rock sarah -- that is one of my favorite farming spots for alarms
That is good to know my friend. The absolute best spot in the game for alarm clocks is Marion Forks. You can get 5 alarm clocks & 7 cans in that one area. Will at some point put out a video showing all these.
Talk about not getting any breaks , the game was extra nasty to you today. There seemed to be more baddies around than usual , and the runners. I've never seen runners in a tunnel before. It's almost as if the game has adaptive difficulty leveling and decided you've been having it too easy lol. Considering what you've been up against , I must say you are doing great. Well played. Thank you mate. The Wolves & Cougars are annoying, but the Runners are the ones that give me the big headaches as you simply can't outrun them on the bike.
I usually wind up selling my bounties at Copeland's camp just for the camp credits. Always seem to be short there. Also, the runners' arch nemesis, the wreaked car! lol
You are right my friend. You never seem to have much at Copeland's. And yes, those cars do come in handy, lol.

What if Deek wasn’t such slow footed and got that fuel pump in time, and Boozer didn’t need to deal with those Rippers and lose an arm; the whole path of the road would have led them up north. Do you think Deek would’ve brought along that “memorial” rock with him? Come to think of it, Sarah is as talkative as that rock after the main story. Perhaps Deek was better off holding onto that rock to save himself from all that troubles, lol 😂

Nice job Boris thank you. I believe those injectors gives Deak a touch of Alzheimer's forgets he burnt out nests. Also did you know one material you can overstock is alarm clocks because you can hold 10 max but you can also hold 10 car alarms but car alarms are limited supply. So that's why sometime you look at mats and see alarm clocks red and you have like 14 if you come across a car alarm you can still pick it up taking the count to 15 up to 20. Just a bit of Days Gone knowledge I thought I'd share.

Hi boris. Today I finally got the gold standard for the outride challenge after watchin your videos. Instead of getting gold for the air apparent and sick line. I got them for sick line and road killer for killing 15 freakers. This is me saying thanks.

I'm "berry" aware of your need for stamina cocktail ingredients. LOL See what I did there? I felt your runner pain. Maybe next time try a smoke bomb, especially since you can just pick up more in Sherman's Camp. It was another 1 shot run. You inspired me to try taking out the hordes now, on the game I completed, using your current load out. So in other words I'm gonna try achieve the Horde Killer achievement. I've cleared the Belknap area and am currently working on the Cascades. Really excited when you drop a new vid and always so disappointed when they end. Keep on keeping on boss, this is such a fun ride!

Great video Boris and as always I truly love watching you play the game. So well done. I’m always too cheap to buy gas at the camps. When you exit Tuckers camp if you head straight south to the small cabins, crawl into a window on the 2nd cabin u encounter and there is a gas can inside. Beats having to pay for gas every time.

I strongly advise you to try them my friend. They are tough, but they are also very enjoyable.

I also don’t shoot or try very hard to avoid the deers in my play throughs 😆sometimes I meet those that just stands there and I can walk up to it and stare at each other for quite abit…my daughter always tells me not to knock them down when she watches me play lol

I was thinking about tuckers camp being a “work camp”. Feels really unrealistic to have a slave camp be prosperous in the apocalypse.

Great video as always. Just curious though - Do you leave Carlos sermon speakers to attract freakers, or just not bothered by them? I have to turn them off every time, I find them as irritating as Deek does 😂
Truthfully mate, I leave them on as they create a fantastic atmosphere when you are in the Iron butte region. I love listening to the speaker rants and just think " this lot are proper nut jobs" lol.

Borislav, How do you aim so well?
IMO, crosshair/reticle should have some options to change shape and color. Sometimes I can't tell where I am aiming with the crosshair because it's hard to see sometimes. (Especially the snowy areas)
A fantastic point, as I've experienced this myself on this playthrough. A change of colour options would be great to have for this. The reason I aim pretty well is because I have to on this playthrough, lol. I don't have focus mode, so trying to get a good line of sight on the target is key my friend.

The pistol crosshair isn't too bad.
It's when I use the SAF12 and other rifles with the "X" crosshair. The lines are way too small/thin. I sometimes lose sight of it.
@47:03. I'm always too freaked when runners attack but I noticed that you got the triangle appearing above Deacon's head. Any idea what happens when you press it at that moment?

This game lets you ride marauder bikes. Is there anything cool you can do with them? I usually drive them to the closest camp for role game’s purposes.
If you have a particular skill in place, I think you can booby trap these bikes, but I have no skills unlocked so no go for me, lol.
