- In 2178, Earth had become too dangerous for humans to live on. Until they could return, the stars would be their new home. Humans adjusted nicely to their new environment, but, over time, ships began to break down and couldn't sustain flight for long. In a last ditch effort, humans went into cryo and sent their ships into a random direction, hoping to find a new home. It is unknown if any had made it to a planet or even of those ships still exist. That is until recently...

If I may, several galaxies away would be several hundred thousand light years. Our closest galaxy, Andromeda, is around 25000 light years away. That’s around 236,000,000,000,000,000 km away from our Sun!

You skipped two 0s in the distance to Andromeda.
So several galaxies away would be in tens, if not hundreds of millions of light years.
Which is even more incomprehensibly insane but oh well :>
Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space.

But ultimately yes, there’s no way the ship drifted several galaxies away haha, we’d have to have had some sort of warp drive debauchle, but the energy from emerging that distance would do horrid damage to everything
I love how both sisters have a clear, distinct, personality to them, coupled with your voice acting it really does feel like two different people talking.
The 'Long Lost Cousin' line and the distance between stars (even with FTL) makes me think that maybe humans might be the progenitors to the same species as the Talis and Kira, but its been so long that it has been forgotten. The only issue with that is the whole 'hundred years' line.
We may have travelled the stars a lot earlier then expected but did it in secret

if i may, ive noticed this trend with a lot of other asmr channels, the audio mixing/balance can be a little one sided towards the sound effects. i was listening to the voices and the airlock sfx felt like they were gonna blow my eardrums out. If the audio is based around the voice of someone, having sfx that are balanced around it enhance it tenfold.

Also, I noticed that a lot of people are also claiming that what they’re listening to is “ASMR” when it’s more “audio drama” that’s me. I’m in no way ASMR, I try to keep my volumes down to a manageable level in editing but it’s a bit out of my hands when it comes to other listeners who have their own volumes jacked all the way up expecting “ASMR” when it’s just “roleplay” 😂😅
I’m completely open to new ways of working with my audio- I’m always messing with it and trying new things! Thanks for the feedback 💕
