Not sure if you know about Valens Conservatory, it's a nice place too, been there over the weekend with the fly. Entry was $16 (adult +car ) & $5 for every other pax. has a nice beach (no lifeguard) has campsites, has a beautiful bridge which runs across a part of the lake, very calm and beautiful, had a lot of people fishing old and young, had canoes and boats ( not sure if there is a rental place there) overall a nice day trip.

The tree you commented on with the blossom is called a tulip tree. It is also the official tree of the town of Tillsonburg Ontario! Thank you for sharing your trip to Guelph
