Ive always liked how he doesn’t do a whole, ex-footballer, jack-the-lad, pub banter, routine. Intelligent, measured, bone dry sense of humour. A great footballer.

I loved Brian as a player, preferred him to Judas any day of the week but I remember seeing him in the City Centre the day after he had scored the only goal against the the Dons in a Cup replay, he just looked right through me and continued on his way. I thought “Ignorant twat” despite that I was pleased to see him have a brilliant career!
