    Absolutely insane what they’re pushing on us.

    Oh no!!! Catalytic converters on law equipment!!!! So I guess we will have to register and get annual inspections and little license plates for our mowers next (along with the companion "tax")!!!

    You will love that mower. We have 30 acres an mow 20 of it. I have 2 of them me an the wife. Tag team it out. Its been 6 yrs know an i have not replaced anything on eather of them . I just change the hydro oil and filter. An the motor oil then adjust the valves yearly. An sharpen the blades a few times a season. Only thing I can say is the Hydro filters are expensive.

    • @unemployedredneckhillbilly2023
      @unemployedredneckhillbilly2023  Před rokem

      It mows great but really sucks down gas. Hopefully that will go down with break in. I priced out the hydro oil for the pumps and was quoted $80 a gallon with 3 gallons needed so along with filters it's not a cheap machine to maintain. Terrible deck to keep clean with all the hardware in the way. Thanks for watching.

      This machine definitely will speed it up. Still will need the BX for the hill and wet areas but they only get cut every couple weeks. I have a Kubota ZD1211 a diesel 24.8 hp, no emission equipment to deal with and no ethanol gas headaches.
      You can get it with 60 or 72" decks and side or rear discharge.
      If you don't have tight stuff I'd go with the front mount style as they can handle hills or ditches with 4wd.
      I sold my gas F725 about 12 years ago, after ethanol made it a pain to keep running. I prefer diesel for equipment.

    • @unemployedredneckhillbilly2023

    Nice mower, I run a scag and a bad habit I created was warming the motor up, then going to full throttle and turning my blades on, much to much for the clutch pack on the pto button, please dont be like me, warm the motor up, roll to your start, reduce engine power to 1/4 then turn the blades on, after they are on, throttle up.

    • @timd5597
      @timd5597 Před rokem +3

      That's 100% correct, other suggestions are always mow at full throttle use your control arms to regulate speed. I also change oil every 50 mowing hours with all my lawn care business equipment 3 of my engines have over 2000 hours still running strong. I use 15/w50 synthetic small engine oil not car oil there is a difference.

    • @unemployedredneckhillbilly2023
      @unemployedredneckhillbilly2023  Před rokem

      They said a couple minutes warm up from cold then about half throttle and turn on the blade clutch. Seems to work well. I'm going to cut at 3/4 throttle for the first 8 hours then drop the oil. Kawasaki uses a semi synthetic with additives for heat that I will be using. They recommended 100 hours between changes but I plan on 50 also. For what they cost you definitely have to keep up with the maintenance. Thanks for watching.

    In my experience the Kawasaki engine is the way to go. My first zero turn was a Scag Tiger Cub with the 19hp Kawasaki engine and I tell you that thing had way more grunt than any 25 or 27 horsepower Kohler powered zero turn I’ve owned since. Are you planning to adapt your Cyclone Rake to the new zero turn?

    • @unemployedredneckhillbilly2023
      @unemployedredneckhillbilly2023  Před rokem

      I think the carbureted ones are the most trouble free but consume more gas. This is 25.5 hp and will cut scary fast. My dealer only orders the Kawasaki ones on this machine due to the reliability. I am thinking about selling the cyclone rake and switching to the new dump bagger in the future. I wouldn't want that whipping around a zero turn the way it does the heavier bx. Thanks for watching

    Hi 👋. URHC + KO . Who is the lucky boy then?, great looking 👀 machine, I could of done with that yesterday, I spent 5Hr yesterday with my Honda walk behind lawnmower, 26” . That was given to me last year, I spent approximately two hours cleaning it up and trying to get it going. I found out that the coil part was rubbing on the centre rotor obviously would not cause a spark. I set it up with about a piece of paper.. gap.
    I used to have a 48 inch John Deere ride on , but in 2019, I was burgled and that stolen plus chainsaws, lawn strimmers , over 15,000€ , I had insufficient insurance, plus my ex partner scammed half for the payout, as the insurance was in her name,
    I’ve still got 5 to 6 hours of cutting the lawn that will probably have to wait until sometime next week as I have rain setting in ,
    Glad to hear that you’ve got your new toy all up and running , Great to hear you talk about your lifestyle and you are obviously very self-sufficient, be safe, PHIL FROM THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOULIN FRANCE.

      @@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 Hi 👋, I was 70 in February 2022, on Sunday 27 of March 22, I had a heart attack after helping somebody move load of their furniture, and then load in my van up with that contents, to travel on the Monday 270m to Bordeaux, too another property,
      This is what my so-called friends are like all he was concerned about, was how I or he was going to arrange to take the van to the property,
      On the Monday after spending a few hours in the operating theatre, I called one of my other so-called friends and asked him if he would take my van with my other so-called friends contents to Bordeaux. He said he would , Chris the person that I was moving has never once, since he has moved, phoned me to ask how I am, I have a very very bad problem with my X female partner she has scammed me for a serious amount of money.
      And I have, since found out that some of my so-called friends had been sending messages back to her, telling her what has happened, and they’ve been trying to put more stress on me, Ps just before Christmas I told them to take a run and jump in polite words,
      My ex and I purchased an old Mill in France back in 2012/3 which I have been working on since then to turn into a beautiful property, plus the property we owned in England, an old Forge which I have been working on since around 2001 2002, so you can imagine the amount of money that I have spent working on these two properties, after she started threatening me back in 2019 when I we were living in the UK, I decided I had enough and I went and spoke to the authorities i.e. the police and the solicitor and they told me just go and move to France so I did,
      And this is when you find out, who is your friends and your family , my so-called friends and family, I’ve been set up , she tried to get me sectioned,
      My Ex and friends and family thought they were going to get a luxurious holiday home,
      Sorry I don’t talk to people very often as I cannot speak French, what keeps me going is listening to music and listening and watching CZcams,
      My property is next to a river, and I have just over 1 acre of land, and there is probably with some of the trees 4-5 are in the river which I have to remove later in the year when the river drops,
      I have sent years of time and effort, and obviously money in trying to do these two properties up one to make some money on the one in France to retire to, yes I am retired but still have a lot of work to do on the moulin/mill, I have been told not to do any more work on the mill until all the financial side has been sorted,
      So yesterday I mowed about half of the lawn, but today I have not done the thing that I’ve been in bed for the last five hours. During the day..
      At my age I should be able to relax and enjoy the France countryside and food, that was the plan
      I / we should’ve been here in self, sustainable countryside like yourselves,
      You are a very lucky person you are manage to fulfil your dreams. You obviously have a very loving wife.
      And I find your territorial is very inspirational. And by the looks of it, you live in a beautiful part of the countryside..
      I look forward to your next project, and your territorial on your next appliance, or gadgets,

    • @unemployedredneckhillbilly2023
      @unemployedredneckhillbilly2023  Před rokem

      It is faster and more comfortable.. The lower center of gravity helps with the tippy feeling on bumps and the seat is really comfortable. The cut is better at higher speeds and turns so fast. I don't use it on my hill or wet bottom because it's not great in those conditions and I only cut them with the BX every couple weeks. Having both is the perfect solution for all conditions. I feel if you just have one the BX is best because it can do other chores but for just grass the Z726 is best. It does suck gas though. Uses about 2 gallons per hour so far compared to the BX at .6 gallons of diesel a hour. Thanks for watching.
