That 1st violinist is perfect. Looks to her to stay in sync, plays with passion, and shows perfect respect regardless of the age difference.
Yeah for sure, when they look at each other and smile and come in at the same time, it's like father and daughter.
He has that grand dad proud of his grand daughter look
@@aconite72 When you reach that age you have nothing to prove... no jealously of younger talents. He's probably just glad to be there to live and experience the beauty and simplicity of it all. I have watched other Chloe Chua videos and I agree thoroughly with you... his presence gives a far more comfortable feeling and it is even seen in Chloe's playing. When the young and old get together it is a beautiful thing...
Yes it’s lovely ❤️
1st chair, baby.
The orchestra is called SALZBURG CHAMBER SOLOISTS ! I’m proud of being one of the cellists !
Really? Awesome man! How was it playing with Chloe Chua? If I was there I would've already passed out. Such a nerve-racking thing, and add insult to injury, the concertmaster is a young prodigy, lol!
@@satyre_1 i mean its to present young prodigies so
That's so cool!!. I really admire you. It must have taken a lot of hard work to get that far. Keep it up!!
Such a great sized and good looking and good sounding group. And what a wonderful place to play. I am happy for you. What a wonderful accomplishment.
Wow, that’s awesome! It’s easy to see that your apart of an extremely talented orchestra!
At this age I tried to beat the gym leader in pokemon. Sad me.
have you beaten him
Mohamed Dessouky No, the console was broken (the game couldn’t be saved) and I had to beat all of them in one go while using a broken chargeable wired battery that couldn’t be charged (Duh) I was at the tower to beat that 5 leader then the electricity went off and I lost all the game data. So saddddddd, I should have put my afford in knowledge :(
Tell Me Where To rip. May your pikachu get to heaven safely
you are alright, Iam 32 and still try to beat the gym leader in pokemon go :))

Chloe learnt to play the piano at 2.5-years-old and started playing the violin at 4-years-old. Her mother, who is a music educator, shared that she initially exposed her daughter to music so that she can discover beauty in life. Chloe practices the violin for 5 hours every day. While her parents see her musical talent, they were surprised by her obsession with music at such a tender age.
Wait what
Not 40 hours XD?

I cannot believe the amount of criticism that people can come up with for such a good performance. Only non musicians would ever be so critical.
I agree that this performance should not be criticized too much but saying that only non musicians would be so critical is completely idiotic.
You’re actually so right. It’s usually old men who don’t play instruments coming up with a nonsense criticisms to make themselves feel as if they have knowledge or intellectuality.
I mean as a musician i feel music is about creating and having opinions. Maybe some came off aggressive but it is still their opinion and that is how music should be. If we all liked this and we all thought this was perfect there would be no diversity and diversity is the best thing about the music community.
I believe real musicians can be the most critical because they actually know what they are talking about. You are using critical and criticism like it's something negative but it is really not. I mean, a passionate musician would rather hear more criticism than not.
I mean.. not really lol. Some criticisms here definitely makes sense as a musician. Especially the ones pointing out the rushing of the orchestra and kinda fighting against each other cuz I did hear it, too, before reading the comments. It's not saying that it was horrible, it just would've been a little nicer if this wasn't the case. They're not discounting how great Chloe or the overall orchestra still played.
31 year old male, who doesn’t even listen to classical music. This brought me to tears. Words can’t even decribe this girl
Your age really doesn't matter. 12 or 52
Edit: nor does gender
It pulled at my heart strings too ;)
@@lilypad2 Oh please calm down. I think he was merely pointing out that despite the stereotype, anyone can be moved by music. No need to start some pointless e-argument over his comment. A lot of men wouldn't think to even mention what he said. I too am a 31-year-old MALE who was incredibly moved by this. That little girl is astounding.
Ive liked classical since i was 5. My grandfather got me into it. Im always finding new and great stuff. Sarah chang and tina guo are great.
Me too. I didn’t even know why I was crying aside from it just being so good. I was watching a 2018 performance with her.
She's different from many of the other prodigies She has a core modesty, dignity and poise that are very appealing, and already she is playing music of different eras and styles with an impressive understanding of the musical architecture of the pieces, whether it is baroque, classical or romantic. She is very exciting to watch and listen to, yet she doesn't "show off" like many others. Everything is in the best possible taste, and joyful. She is an absolute treasure.

Lmao at least the audience didn’t clap between movements this time
... don't remind me of the horror i felt
@@em-jd4do can you please explain why people clapped the last time (I saw her previous vids0 and why its not right to clap and is this entire video the Winter segment of Vivaldi's concerto?
Isabelle um I can’t really explain this but unlike pop concerts, your not supposed to clap until the end of the piece so you can enjoy the actual music. I know this probably isn’t really helpful and is probably wrong, but this is what I was taught
also classical music concerts are usually performed in chambers that have good acoustics luke churches for the entire orchestra to be heard without the need for speakers etc. so clapping would just be considered as noise during the performance
Iinm, this is a concert as part of the competition, clapping hands only allowed at the end of performance because the whole performance is recorded. Same rules applied during competition.
Ok do u understand how difficult this is.... this girl is playing it with ease.... EASE- LIKE ITS NOTHING, SHE CAN LITERALLY WAKE UP AND STILL PLAY IT PERFECTLY 🧍🏾♀️
what actually really got me was her intonation and phrasing, just beautiful
U should watch her interview… she’s is so relaxed like a regular kid and play so amazingly. czcams.com/video/nf54hpr3VKg/video.html

I like how the audience here doesn't clap between movements
I think it's because it's a competition
@@oceocet Competition has nothing to do with it; generally during any multi-movement piece the audience is supposed to hold their applause until after the final movement. Clapping between movements can be disruptive to the performers and is therefore considered rude and unethical.
Common etiquette
@@frankjuggaloheathen1035 No no, i think what he was saying was that because it's a competition, the audience is perhaps more learned? So they know not to clap between each movement.
you are not supposed to clap (to show approval, preference) during a competition.

Maybe the condensers made the difference?

This one's audio recording quality is significantly lower though... You can hear it in the higher ends of the sound
I love those little moments where you see her catching eyes with someone else in the orchestra, you can just see how much she loves playing and how she loves to share that with the people she plays with. It doesn't matter that they're all two to four decades older than her, they're all connected in the music.
I find it cool how she looks over at the players on each side.
I love how she holds the center. Really embraces the music and the musicians. So very confident and in control in a way that welds the whole sound together. You can tell how much the other musicians respect her, how much they enjoy playing together. Just incredible.

Seeing how the first chair in this orchestra was so focused on being on time with Chloe gave me inspiration! I love this orchestra with all my heart.
Is this a whole peice or 3 peice of art. I want to study the 2nd part. Not sure if it has a different name.
@@ernsmile579 I am not entirely sure but it is most likely one whole piece, that’s normally how it’s written when a violinist has a solo within an entire orchestra
@@ernsmile579
It is a just one work, Vivaldi's "Winter."
It has three movements.
So in answer to your question, the "the 2nd part" is the second movement of Vivaldi's work "Winter" (from his "Four Seasons").
I understand why some may prefer a gentler rendition of this but I think this would suit something that requires energy. Like sprinting or a frantic cleaning of the house or something. I personally love this. It took my breath away. The softer parts actually do very well to build tension before it is released in one fell swoop.
She's becoming my favorite young artist, lots of music in her future.
