I planted my first slips this year. I’ve never grown sweet potatoes before, so I’m hoping they’ll make. In reality, they should be in everyone’s garden for food security purposes. Simple to grow, low maintenance and they propagate easily. Not sure why I never tried them before.🤷♀️
I love sweet potatoes. They're a good nutritious crop for sure. This is my first year growing slips. Some Amish friends gave us a bunch of sweet potatoes last year and they were really good so I decided to save a couple to start slips. I hope your's do good!
@@jarvismoore8320 To be honest I'm not sure. Last year an Amish friend gave us some sweet potatoes and I saved a couple to grow slips. I know they got really big.

What variety? I planted Nancy Hall, Orleans, Carolina Ruby, and Georgia Jet! Nancy hall is my favorite! Planted over 100 of them
