My family and I decided to leave the city life in 2015 and move to the country. We went from living in the suburbs to 2 acres in south central Kentucky. On this channel you'll see us gardening and preserving our harvests.
Every year we try to grow a lot of our own food and preserve as much as possible through canning and freezing. We also love to hunt and eat wild game as we are blessed to live in an area with an abundance of wildlife.

Zygote is big word for fertilized egg, I believe. Think I took that test about 40 years ago..Dennis

Problem is I heard that in embryology class....plant science is surely different. I would bet pollination is quite different than embryology....Dennis
How often should you treat the tomato plants? 😊
I usually treat once as a preventative and then no more unless I see signs of blossom end rot.

Your harvest sure is blessed this year. ❤️ I just slice up lots of my peppers and put them in ziplocs to use in stir fries and stuff. Comes in handy.

Boy your garden is looking good! I haven’t heard of the Belgian Pink tomatoes; I’ll have to get some seeds. I planted some called Belgian Beauty this year and they made my largest tomatoes. Very good too. Keep it up. Y’all are going to have a great harvest.👍

Looking good 👍 you're definitely the pepper guy. I'm having trouble for the first time ever with my sweet corn 🌽 and we realized tonight that the crows might be eating the fresh stalks as they come out of the ground. Never had that happen before 😡

We need rain here in Western North carolina. We've had one shower in the last three and a half weeks. Not hardly enough to dampen the ground.

I have bantam and sweet corn in the same patch and they’re both doing this except the sweet corn is like 7 ft tall and has tassels already and the ears just forming. Plenty of water and nutes
