I think i’d agree with Sharky on Arsenal being the best team in England. Although i’d also accept City there too. City have that extra factor of inevitability that Arsenal just don’t have, but Arsenal just outplay basically any team they face.

As a Chelsea fan, I agree with what they all said, but I also want to add that this is not the same Chelsea as before. The previous owner was forced to sell the club, and the new owners were faced with the task of tackling the high wages and debt built up by the old ownership. Selling almost all the core players and having the 2nd youngest team in Europe T5L will lead to results like that against Arsenal. I personally believe that results like that are necessary for development. I don't agree with the recruitment strategy they used, but with these kind of players, having 6 managers in 3 seasons is not going to help them develop. If we had stuck with Potter till now, maybe the results would have been better, but sacking Poch is not the move imo.

It can’t be a 3 horse race and say it’s been a Liverpool bottle job. Both statements contradict. Liverpool can’t have bottled the league when no one’s confident on who the winner is. The manner in which they dropped out of the race was bad, but it’s not a bottle. To say it’s a bottle is to say City and Arsenal were never in a title race. It’s been more a failure of a season for a team like Liverpool to end a season trophyless.

The turning point with Havertz was not him playing as a striker.
Personally, I felt it was the nld because he played very well that match. The next match was the Bournemouth game where he scored. The game after this he came off the bench and got the assist for the winning goal Vs Man City. The following month he got the last minute winner vs Brentford and then an equaliser vs Luton. He then was our best player in a loss vs Aston Villa before scoring vs Brighton.
All of that is to say between October and December he was improving massively and putting in great performances in the midfield.
This means his come back to form occurred long before he moved to striker and long before rival fans started giving him flowers. Those who watched him every week and knew what they were looking at were singing his praises long before everyone else slowly realised he’s actually a good player.
