- I found this airport by accident on CZcams and I was stunned by the scenery and the terrain around the airport. Never heard of this place but it has great quality scenery so I decided to head up there and try the approach myself. We got caught by a huge downdraft on short final but managed to recover and continue the landing. I'll definitely do some more domestic flights in Colombia soon.

That was butter!! Insane video! In a good way obviously!
Thanks a lot!
What an insane downdraft! Very nice recovery and landing! Love these approach videos, keem em coming! :D
Yeah a bit too much I think but the approach was awesome. Stunning little airport :D
Wow! Those trees are awkwardly located. Really disturbed the approach just few feets prior to touchdown.
Yeah that was pretty exciting
Nicely done! going from a low energy state to a high one on such small runway's is really tricky. Again, love the dual view!
Learned from the best
Nice video man
Thanks!
Those trees placed right there at that height and the steep edge really gives risk for downdrafts
Indeed, it certainly did.
Nice video! I subscribed! Do you prefer the pmdg 737-800 or the Fenix a320?
Thanks a lot! I prefer the Fenix A320 by a lot. The 737 is a great aircraft but PMDG's recreation is far off from the level of Fenix unfortunately.
Butter :)
I always try :D
Great touchdown. I would’ve went around during that final personally.
Yeah I feel like these drafts are always around cliffs and a but too much in MSFS. When I tested the scenery prior the flight I had the exact same thing with 0 wind
You should try Bogota then! :)
I did. Awesome RNP approach
Then try my hometown SKMD medellin, bet you'll not fit an Airbus there! :P, you may try the visual circuit of the runway 01. The 737-700 of the Colombian president is the biggest plane to land there
