Lovely dusk arrival into Cagliari after a short flight from Pisa. We went for a flaps 40 landing to be able to vacate via D. Besides the operational part I really enjoy landing with flaps 40, the flare feels very nice and effective.

I've been using the ARPC Sky color mod since a little while and I'm so far impressed with the looks of it. Dusk has a bit more natural look than the red-ish MSFS default sky. I had the oppertunity to join close friend @amarpilot on a roundtrip to Iceland. On this video we are landing on Amsterdam's 36C. Flaps 40 to vacate at exit W5 and as usual a very smooth landing. Another cracking video mate. I just love this sky mod - the outside view reminds me of my evenings watching planes at LHR - they've got the colours and ambience of dusk just right.

ARPC mod is making the sky look very odd tbh
yea it does look weird, but I do believe that is how it looks in the real world. If you dont like some settings too you can change them.
So far really like it. The redish sky is now very bluefish which is very realistic when clouds are present. The sky in this video looks identical to one of my recent 737 cockpit trips IRL

Another great landing! Im curious, what's your "view distance" setting set to? The one what goes from 0-400. I set mine to 120 not to burn PC, but it does not really look nearly as good as yours. What's the secret? ;)

@@john-bc6px no, your cue to start arming the speed brakes and turning on the lights is when you reach flaps 3 in the configuration process and the nose wheel lights are set to takeoff, taxi lights are not bright enough to light up a runway

Seems like in every fenix flight the speedbrake needs to be used with the way the VNAV is rn haha. Nice video anyways
I took a shortcut and ended up around 5000ft above the profile so I went all the way down with the speedbrake and only intercepted the path somewhere on downwind. Thanks for watching!
Yep totally agree. Seems fine down from cruise to 10000ft but from then in its speedbrakes all the time no matter the wind

No sounds are default Fenix and I use nvidia filters
